As the group continued to make their way back to the sword, Beuce had brought up a good point. If the sword was free and the masked woman did get her hands on it, that would make everything more complicated for them. A skill witch was hard enough, but give them a magic sword and you might as well be fighting a Rune Slayer or any other person who skillfully uses magic and a sword. "Let's call that a worst case scenario and not worry about it too much." Still, hopefully things wouldn't be bad when they did get back. They could use some good new after that whole ordeal with Mim.

Despite his best efforts to avoid the attacks of the heartless, Glen had been struck. The hit didn't hurt that much, but it was enough to cause Glen to think a little more cautiously. He was no longer acting like some rabid beast that had the scent of prey. The keyblade wielder still wanted Vanitas dead as much as ever, but he had to take things one at a time. The Thresholder, however, was taking a fair beating and stalling them significantly. With a low growl, Glen ran forwards. If this thing wanted to play rough, then it was going to get more than it bargained for.

With a few swings of the keyblade, Glen delivered a devastating combo attack on the Thresholder, aiming most of them towards the door itself but making sure to attempt to hit the arm that had hit him before in an effort to keep it occupied. After lashing out with his strikes, the young warrior then leaped backwards and hopefully out of reach, satisfied for the moment with the damage he had dealt.

"Say.. I gotta sinking feeli- WAHHHHH!" Donald hollered as the Dark Thorn erupted from its hiding place in the floor. Luckily, the barrier of furniture continued to protect the party momentarily, but the shock waves were felt to knock the duck on his backside. "Rassin' frassin' Heartless..."

"I don't think my servants can hold up much longer. Do what you can... the fight is going to get harder from here!" Beast advised to the Keybladers with his gruff voice.

Karina was grumbling slightly at this point. With the last attack they had lost the bonus damage given to them by those annoying birds. She didn't have much left up her sleeve for big hit attacks, and the attacks against them where progressively getting stronger. First thought Karina had was to just hit normally, do a combo or whatever, but then she remembered what Basil said. Fire was one of this things weaknesses. Karina herself was not good with magic, but she knew a certain lizard that was. She had met him in the last world she was in. Karina wondered if Glen was still afraid of it, or if that fear was taken over by a fear of the bird that she could one hit no problem. Either way it was time for Mushu to come in and help for the next while.

D'daear lunged himself at the Dark thorn that had re-emerged from who knows where. The team was doing really well, and he hoped that they could keep up the momentum they had built in terms of damage. The would be hero slammed his keyblade at the large heartless like a hammer as the start of his hits. The Beast had spoken, and watching his servants take the hits like that was painful to watch. Sure they were transformed into objects, but even still...it had to hurt. "Those are Beast's friends you're hitting!!" he shouted furiously at the invader. He spun around to gather force, the keyblade swinging left, then right horizontally like a baseball.

They had brought down the meddlesome machine down to nearly half it's health now! And after Karina's summoning, he could tell she was somehow... slower. Just that minor notice of inflicted injury. Nothing too harsh, but could become a problem if not healed quickly. He held out his blade pointed to Karina. "Heal!" he cried out, casting a cure spell. His allies were more than doing enough damage, that the least he could do was make sure they were well defended. Though not on a mystic path, he believed in being able to support party members with both magical and defensive means.

Gilgamesh was on his last knee, keeping himself balanced by one of his imitation swords. Beaten down by effortlessly by Nequa, who towered over him. Behind her, sat the two magical detaining fields of magic that kept in Merlin and a sleeping Mizu.
He was trying to catch his breath from their heavy battle. "I (gasp) don't remember you being that (gasp) weak..." he exasperated.
Nequa stood, bored with her wrists over her keyblade, which was perched like stock, behind her neck. "Hmm... maybe I'm just slacking? After all, it took me two more seconds to beat the golems then anticipated," she chuckled, looking towards the piles of snow. Mizu's once strong golem bodyguards were now reduced to slush. "But hey, it's still not bad for a kid her age!"
Gilgamesh chuckled back. "How much longer do you think you can keep that act up?"
"I never was much of an actress I suppose... but I manage with what's given," Nequa replied, lowering her blade off her shoulders. "But only as long as I need to... You won't tell me widdle secwit, will you?" she asked sweetly.
"Hehe, course not," he held his side in pain. "That would be ruining the game's story..."
"Will never understand what you mean by that," she said, kicking his face over. Gilgamesh fell, and was too exhausted to regain balance. Too much exposure outside the void had affected his body in an odd way. He wasn't meant to be in this world, and it was slowly taking it's toll on him.
Nequa was preparing to make her way over to a cowering Wart, who gulped as she approached him. "Don't worry lad!" Merlin tried to comfort. "I'll have my way out of this in a jiff!" The old wizard was trying to cast spells against the field, but all his rhymes were just making it change from purple, to blue, and back again.

Ananta had seen Gilgamesh fall from afar, so she was running towards Nequa. "Guys, I'm going to do something stupid, let's hope I don't die." she said to her teammates. Once finished, she summoned her keyblade, Lady Luck, and jumped. She lifted her keyblade above her head and swung it down towards Nequa. Their keyblades met and Ananta smirked at Nequa. "You know, I don't see what Beuce sees in you. Must be pretty ugly if you have to wear a stupid mask all the time." she growled at Nequa, trying to shove her back. Instead, Nequa shoved Ananta back, sending her flying towards Wart. Ananta landed on her butt and stood up, dusting herself off. "Wart, whatever you do, try to find yourself a weapon of some sort. We might need you to help fight with us to defend yourself. Okay?" she said, standing ready with her keyblade. Goofy had caught up and was standing beside her, holding his shield up. "Goofy...protect Wart please!" she said to him. "You got it!" Goofy confirmed, nodding.

The second blow was enough to throw Etrius a bit. He could feel that he was getting weak, and the tint on his skin lessened a little. He knew he couldn't back down, so he immediately put his hand in his cloak, and uncorked his last Potion. As he sipped the liquid and emptied it of its properties, he felt a little of his strength return to him, He braced himself for another attack.

Glen cringed a little as the attack hit him. Despite being fast on his feet, he had been hit, and although he knew how to take a hit, that had really stung. His body felt battered and bruised, aching all over, but there was no way he was going to give up. Much as he hated to admit it, he wasn't going to be able to take the heartless down on his own, so some teamwork would probably be needed. He raised his keyblade into the air and at the mere thought of a summoning, it began releasing red smoke from it's tip and working its magic. From the cloud of smoke, a terrifying shadow of a dragon could be seen, furious and standing in a very intimidating pose.

Once the smoke cleared, there was no longer a gigantic dragon, threatening the enemy, but rather a much smaller one, one that Glen often thought of as a lizard. It was Mushu, doing his best to seem powerful and allmighty, but it looked about as scary as a fly would if it were simply daring a human to try to swat it. Stifling a laugh, Glen pointed at the Thresholder. "Mushu, you want to prove that you're this big, mighty dragon? You help us take that thing down and i'll stop calling you a lizard, deal?" he offered.

Glen summoned Mushu!

Beuce frowned at the scene. The golems were down for the count, and Gilgamesh wasn't looking too hot. She'd managed to take out all of them by herself. He knew she was strong, but this...She hadn't even so much as broken a sweat from the looks of things. Ananta ran over to attack her, but didn't have much luck. Beuce, however, ran to Gilgamesh. "Come on man, you gotta get up. You're supposed to be the mighty Gilgamesh! You're going to let some big boobed southern bell witch beat you like this? Think of your old rival! They'd be ashamed to see you like this!" He said, trying to put some drive into the multi-armed warrior. Hopefully he had a rival to speak of. Men like him generally did. So, Beuce gambled on a guess. It was then he looked over to Ananta, telling wart to grab any sort of weapon he could...No...Couldn't be...It was just too perfect. The gears clicked in his head just a second too late, as he figured out what was about to happen. "WART NO!" He shouted as the boy placed his palms around the handle of the sword and a golden light shone down onto him.
