Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Glen took his pick quickly. In his opinion, the first two worlds seemed more interesting than the third one, so that made it easier to decide. He decided he would take the second one, first one seeming a little too bright for his liking. He tossed up his keyblade and turned it into the glider form, before leaping onto it and taking off.

Upon arrival, the first thing he noticed was that he was in what appeared to be a bamboo thicket. He had no urge to stand there for very long; he doubted much would happen in a simple bamboo thicket, so he really hoped that someone would be able to tell him what he was meant to do next. He thought again of the fireworks that he had seen in the Holo-Almanac, but he could see none. What had been the purpose for them?

 

"Well, you could've told me that you'd planned to, I don't know, make the thing disappear. I, for one, prefer having something solid beneath my feet." She sighed, realizing that she was getting wound up over nothing, and brushed off her white pants and jacket. She took a good look around and noticed that, apart from having pretty soft footing, the place was full of greenery. In fact, it looked like this temple was in the middle of a forest or something. In the distance opposite this gaudy pyramid, she saw a bunch of hills, each housing very modest homes, with one in particular standing above the rest, despite its humble appearance. She heard Ananta ask if they could get away from the temple and while she was curious to see just who, if anyone, was inside, she figured that having a glider meant she could come back and explore later. "That's fine, though it looks like it's a hell of a way off. Are you sure you don't wanna see what's in here?" She figured it was worth it to ask once, even though she would probably have to stick with them anyway-- she wasn't exactly skilled at anything yet.

 

Raisor opened his eyes and noticed he was laying on the ground. His body was stretched across the earth, and his back was incredibly sore. At the very least he felt refreshed. He couldn't remember what had happened to him. The last thing that he remembered was that everyone was gathered together at the Castle of Dreams, and the next thing, he was waking up on the ground, in the middle of a bamboo forest. He wasn't sure he really wanted to know why he was on the ground; all he knew was that he had to figure out where he was.
Just then, he saw his keyblade lying right next to him. He wasn't sure why, but he picked it up and "put it away". He didn't want anyone to pass by and think that he was some kind of enemy, especially since he wasn't ready to get into another fight. Just as he got up, his head started to throb a little, and he shakily walked over to a walked. Gripping his head he tried to remember what had happened.
The first thing he could remember was that everyone had left for the Land of Departure. Raisor was just about to go as well, but his vision got dizzy, and he stumbled a little. He managed to summon his keyblade glider and made it off the world. He knew he was running behind everyone, so he tried to get to his destination has quickly as he could. But he supposed he wasn't as great as he thought he felt, because at that moment he could remember his vision getting blurry again and falling from his keyblade glider. While falling, he noticed another world and managed to get back on just enough to steer himself to the world. When he reached it, he fell on the ground, and immediately went unconscious.
"Heh, I guess fighting to big battles one after the other was still too much for me." He grinned as he let go of his head, remembering now how he ended up in this world. "I still have a long way to go before I get strong enough to protect everyone. At least no one was around to see me like that. Would have been embarrasing. Now I need to find out where the heck I am."
He looked around, and reached a path that led to a giant campsite. He could hear people from it, and from the looks of the site itself, it seemed like he was near an army.
"Hoo boy, hope Glen and Eon get here quickly. Not sure I want to be here alone...ugh!" He pinched his nose, coming across an unpleasant odor, "especially with that smell."

 

Eon saw everyone begin to leave the selected worlds they were assigned to. Luckily for him, some food was left. He grabbed some bread and began to eat as he ran outside. He was going to be late to the party now. Hopefully everyone wouldn't be too far ahead of him. He hit his chest to activate his armor and then threw his- Oh right, the person controllinghim got rid of the blade. Sorry Eon. "Fine. I will just use the generic kingdom key." Blame Krowley little bud. Moving on, Eon threw the Kingdom Key up and it transformed into a glider. He began to burst off traveling through the worm hole that teleported them light years into space.

His journey in the worm hole was the same as normal. Silent, colorful, and fast. The speed was hard to tell due to the fact there was no wind so if almost felt like you were sitting still as you glide through the emptiness of space. The only way you could tell you were getting any speed was that of the stars around you being brushed aside much quicker than is actually possible for normal people to accomplish. Up ahead he could see the light at the end of the tunnel. His exit point to the brand new world he would get the privilege to discover and help.

He came through and saw a mountainous region. Very mountainous actually, tall steep cliffs with very narrow passage. Ahead of him was a large palace constructed of what seemed to be gold.The climate was a tad dry but the mountain to valley breeze made it feel so much more comfortable. The location was just peaceful. The only strange thing was the odd stench of fecal matter. Eon looked down to see the place was swarming with llamas. A form of horseback for them it would seem. Or perhaps the only method for them to produce any milk.

He looked up ahead to see his fellow keyblade wielders. This time however, he knew not a single one of them. They were all new to him which made him feel uneasy. New people were never a good thing for Eon. He had barely gotten used to Raisor and Aden. He worked well in the battle with others but that was because it was a life or death situation and he had no other choice. He would just have to breathe in and learn to accept these new people while he stayed here. The polite thing to do would be to introduce himself to them.

Eon landed and unsheathed his armor. Walking toward the group he gave a nervous look at them. "H-hello everyone. I guess we will be working together here. M-my name is Eon." As he bowed once he was finished with his introduction. Maybe they would just ignore him like they did back at the Land of Departure. It wouldn't matter. Eon was there and they would have to put up with him as much as he would have to put up with them.

 

Soon enough Kel found that his surrounding had changed from the Land of Departure, to some kind of bamboo thicket. It was quite a surprise though he managed to adjust before taking a look around. At first he was reminded of Nottingham, though the difference was that he was still in his regular for and not a fox this time around. Wonder who else made it here. He'd have his answer to that question soon enough as he went ahead and explored around the new area.

 

Luna had came across a bubble shaped gate that reveal the world she was about to enter. She jumped off her glider and floated down a mysterious hallway. As Luna reached the ground she heard a familiar voice cast a fire spell. She stood up and walked toward the voice. "Any idea where we are?" She asked Krowley on where they where. She felt another aura coming toward them but it was an aura from the Land of Departure. Luna turned around and saw another keyblader. "I don't think we met but I'm Luna and you are?" She greeted Base and had asked him for his name.

 

Flora rapidly threw her Keyblade and summoned her Glider. She had picked to go the red palace because it looked fun over there. "I wonder who I'll have... Hopefully not Karina. I like her and all, but she really needs an attitude adjustment. The way she glared at me when I asked her what was up..." She shook her head, "Then I comforted her, and that seemed to help, but I can only deal with so much of her..." Flora did really like Karina, and wanted to be her friend, but seriously, the girl needed to chill. Well, maybe it was too early to judge. She had just met Karina, and she was just one teammate.

Oh look, her destination. It was time.

Flora found herself in a bamboo thicket and noticed... She looked like a man...

"I look like a man! What is this?" She said with a giggle. Not very professional. She stood up straight and tried to look tough. "Let's see... What's a good manly name..? Um... Let's see... I'll go with Lee. Yeah... Lee." It sounded simple enough. Plus it was unisex, so no one would really question it. Next was adjusting her own attitude. Flora didn't like to admit it, but she was a bit of a girly girl. She didn't know what they had around here either, so she'd just observe along the way.

Suddenly, she heard a voice she recognized. She turned to the source and deduced it was Karina. "Oh, it's you Karina. How nice to see you." She paused. "Anyway, I think you need to pick a male name first. We obviously have to pretend to be guys, so it's best to choose a name based on that," Flora turned to her other companions, "Call me Lee in this world. It's my male identity."

 

Raisor tapped his foot on the ground, trying to figure out what he needed to do. He could go to Land of Departure, but if there was something to do here that he could help with, he didn't feel like he should leave just yet. Just then, he noticed that a few people were coming from down the path, headed towards the camp. He ran back into the bamboo thicket, not wanting to get seen just yet, since he didn't have a great excuse as to why he was there just yet.

Just as the men passed by, he heard a few voices coming from back behind him. He listened and it sounded like it was from near where he was lying on the ground. Raisor walked over toward the area and noticed Glen; as well as two other....men? He didn't know whether to call them men or not, since they didn't really act like one, but at the same time they looked like a man. He knew they were keybladers, but he didn't really recognize the other two. He walked towards them, trying to figure out how his luck had turned out like this.

As he got to the opening, he heard one of them called themselves "Lee", and called the other "Karina". He could figured Karina was the real name of one of them, but he was not buying the name "Lee".

"Well, from the looks of it, this place seems to be Chinese, so I suppose "Lee" wouldn't be bad, but why did you have to pick something so generic?" He stopped in front of the three, raising his hand toward Glen. "Nice to see ya again Glen. Sorry for getting lost from the group. Felt like I had to check this world out on the way back. What a coincidence huh?"

He looked toward the other two, first to Karina, "And I figure "he" just called you by your real name huh? Considering I recall there being a Karina keyblader in our group, but I could be wrong you know." He looked toward "Lee", "What would you're real name be than? It wouldn't be nice to hide your real name from someone who's working on the same job as you after all."

Then he remembered that he didn't introduce himself at all either. Guess he should take his own advice, "By the way, I'm Raisor. Glen and I helped each other out in the last world we were in."

 

As it would happen to be just Eon's luck, a man came falling from the sky. Apparently learning everyone's name would have to wait. Eon rushed over to see if the man survived. It was a far drop and the ground was surely solid, though he had seen weirder things. He saw the man laying there without a scratch on him. Maybe he was immortal?

Eon put out his hand to help the old man. "Hey, are you okay? Who throws people out of a palace from the height anyway?" He said with a very concerned look. Whoever was ruling had no tolerance to harm such an innocent looking young man who sounded like Winneh the Pooh. Would you through Pooh off a palace? I didn't think so.

 

Ananta watched the old man fly off. Her mouth hung open as she watched the height he began to fall. Following Eon, she reached where he was. "Dude, you okay? You went flying out that window!" she reached up to try and help him. Seeing as Eon was too short and all. She helped the old man down. "I"m Ananta, is there anything my friends and I can do to help you, sir?" she asked politely. A far cry from her previous statement. "Can you also explain why you were thrown out that window?" she asked curiously.

 

Mere moments after asking about investigating the pyramid, Cat looked up and saw an older guy come fall from somewhere high up. He seemed to be apologizing for something, but when they heard the thud she instinctively ran in his direction, picking up a cane she saw along the way. It didn't seem like anyone could possibly survive that kind of fall, but when they arrived it seemed like he was just a bit dazed. When Ananta and the boy -- she remembered him introducing himself as Eon -- bombarded the man with questions and helped to pick him up, she simply handed him his cane, figuring that he would answer when he was mentally recovered from that kind of experience.

She also took the opportunity to introduce herself to Eon, who despite his age, seemed calm and fairly capable. "I don't think you know me yet, Eon. I'm Cat." She held out her hand, hoping to make a good first impression on the young boy.

 

Glen was pleasantly surprised to see Raisor. Raisor himself he wasn't sure of if he liked or not, but he felt a little more at ease actually having someone he knew there. He had done his best to suppress a snicker at the sight of the two females who were dressed like males, he got the feeling it wasn't something they did often. He thought for a moment, crossing his arms. "The fact that you had a male identity lined up is questionable" he said bluntly, unable to help himself as he let off another snicker. "As for the name, I don't think it maters all that much to either of you unless you plan to use it in future which would be..unusual" he finished. Why did he have the feeling he would deserve/receive a slap to the face if he said any more?

 

A dark portal opened in the Kingdom of the Sun. Etrius' pale eyes looked around the scenery. Different. Natrually. And just in time to see some of the other Keybladers helping out an old man fly out of one of the windows of the odd looking palace. He saw Steel, putting a smile to Etrius' lips. He walked over, cloak still covering his identity, to investigate whats going on. The more he knows about the universal problem of time, the better.

 

"The Emporer...? The guy who's in charge, right?" Ananta questioned. Who was this guy and why did he just throw a poor old man out the window? That's way rude. "What the heck is a groove anyway? I mean, whatever it is must be important to throw a defenseless old man out the window, right?" she scratched her head. This guy was sounding really really evil. He must be the reason why everyone had to come here! "Well, whatever he is, we gotta stop him! He's evil!" she announced. That may be a bad idea. Jail seems like a place for those announcing they want to defeat the emporer.

 

Cat turned back around to hear the old man talk about throwing off the emperor's groove, whatever that meant. It seemed ridiculous, and just as she wanted to speak up, she heard Ananta call him evil. She turned to her and sighed. "Look, it might be best if we think this through. I mean, this guy is clearly living large and in charge. If we want to chew him out, then..." She looked around for a minute before spotting two guards by the steps, and walked towards them. "Hey. Do you think we could get an audience with the emperor?" She hoped that this would work, because she figured Ananta would storm up there herself if they refused.

 

The new girl known as Cat introduced herself to Eon unlike the others among him. He recalled seeing them all at the Lnad of Departure as well excluding Cat so she must have been an entirely new recruit. Eon smiled and took her hand. "It a very nice to meet you Miss."

The old man got up and appeared to be very unharmed. Yep, that is it, this old man is immortal. Eon was just shocked that he managed to get back up without a broken bone, a wound, or anything. Only if Eon knew that kind of defense. This old man is what Eon sought to be, a brick.

He mentioned an Emperor and throwing off some sort of groove. In fact, with Cat asking him some more, a lot of terror came from him. Clearly the emperor was a powerful man. Or he just had some very loyal guards. It is not as if the old man was heavy or anything either. Perhaps this was nothing to worry about. However an audience with the emperor would be best. Someone had to challenge his cruelty.
