Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Valerie was too lazy to get a mirror, feeling the back of her head. Her new haircut now went to the middle of her neck. "Huh. I think I'll learn to like this."she smiled. She took the scissors to trim her bangs, the year making them grow to cover her face. "There. much better."she grinned. Chester jumped from Valerie's lap, taking some of the hair in its mouth. Upon swallowing it started to choke, coughing up the strands of chopped up hair.

 

Jeffrey pulled part of his bangs straight down his face. Without being combed, it could touch the tip of his nose. "I could use a haircut, too."

 

"You need to be bloooondeeeerrrr~"Valerie joked, looking at Jeffreys hair. She didn't mind that Jeffreys hair looked more brownish than blonde, but with her and Sora there was enough brunettes in the group. "Is there a spell that changes hair color? there should tottaly be one..."Valerie said. "I highly doubt there is one..."Riku said, coming out of the rest area. His once long silver hair now barely reached his chin, bangs cut to reveal more of his face.

"What happened to your hair?!"Valerie was suprised. "I cut it... Thought I could do something different..."Riku said. "Sora's gonna be in there a bit longer though. Trying to sort out the porcupine he calls hair."he teased. "I heard that!"Sora snapped.

 

Jeffrey's eyes flicked to the left. I know it was a joke, but I'd rather not... "I think it looks good on you," Kairi told Riku. "It reminds me of when we were kids." She pulled some of her hair behind her ear. "I think I'll keep my long."

 

"I like your hair long, Kairi."Riku admitted. "Riku! Do you think Jeffrey would look good as an actual blonde?"Valerie asked. Riku looke dover to Jeffrey. "I dunno. I think he looks fine the way he is."he shrugged. "thats because it looks like he has brown hair like Sora!"Valerie huffed. "Huh, what about me?"Sora peekd his head out the resting area, done unspiking his hair.

Sora had already trimmed the tame spikes, his hair now alittle shorter than Valeries. "How do I look?"he asked, giving a small smile. "Great."Riku smiled. "Adorable!"Valerie smiled.

 

The NeoShadow hummed again, trying to convince the darkling to come into the shadows with it. "Fledgling, come with me, my master is stronger then these fools. Many hearts will be rewarded for servitude..." it purred, and her eyes narrowing to the mention of the group's new destination. Master will be most pleased to hear this...

 

Chester scooched closer to the Neoshadow, alittle wary. "Chester, stop wandering off. You don't want to eat anything that isn't safe, do you?"Valerie picked up the Shadow again, giggling. "A heartless for a pet... I've heard of stranger..."Riku chuckled.

 

The NeoShadow almost wished it could tear apart everyone on this ship, save for the fledgling, but Master didn't allow her to feast as of yet. It purred to Chester more. "Little Darkling, I am not your enemy, they are. They are going to kill you if you do anything suspicious, it is only a matter of time. And you are one of my kind, you belong with the dark, feasting on the hearts of the weak."

 

Chester listened to the Neoshadow. These people we nice to it, actually gave the heartless food and care. It was a newly created Heartless, it had never really taken a heart yet. It couldn't tell if the humans were predator or prey, so it decided to stay with the humans to decide what to do with them in the future. Of course, a young heartless did not have the thinking process of such difficult things, let alone a young Shadow...

 

OOC: You said it was a baby heartless o.o it wouldn't have been around many other heartless before you found it...that and it's going against everything a heartless would be...my god you've ruined the heartless.

 

OOC:Too much? Oh alright, I'll fix it up a bit.... It's still not joining you guys though.>->

 

OOC: Reasons for not joining(that would actually make sense with a heartless)?

 

OOC:1-Shadows are much weaker than Neoshadows and even a young one would realize it would just be a hindrance to the mission.
2-A shadow would be more of a pawn, nothing but the first one to run into danger and possibly the first to be slayed.
3-Why would a heartless go back on earning a keybearers trust? if the heartless ever did decide to attack it could use the trust it had between keyblade masters to its advantage.

 

OOC: Ok, 1. The heartless go together, shadows especially hunt in "packs", primal instinct would drive it to do so.
2. Again, a shadow would just go with the other heartless. And they still have their uses (they're more like an assasin heartless)
3. IF the heartless ever decided to attack? are you TRYING to screw up everything about the heartless? I remember a quote from KH1 "so long as you continue to wield the keyblade, the heartless will come for your heart" or something like that. THEY ALWAYS GO FOR THE FRIGIN KEYBLADE WIELDERS. Are we keeping this thing even REMOTELY true to kh or not? because so far the only character i've seen accurate is Kairi, so congrats on that Haseo. Can we settle this now, Haseo? ARE we keeping this remotely accurate to kh, or is it basically a fanfic yaoi sort of thing? Because animegirl's been making it seem like a yaoi fanfic for a long time now.

OOC:Alright, I give up. We'll have it your way. After Sora has the child you can kick me out of the rp. I can tell when I'm not wanted.....

 

Never said you weren't wanted, just saying if we're basing an rp on the series of kingdom hearts the characters and creatures in it should ACTUALLY be like the characters and creatures in kingdom hearts.

The NeoShadow growled, having had enough of the fledgling. She retreated to Gexln, reporting that the Keybearers were heading to Destiny Islands. "But before we follow, I will need to grow stronger in order to be of better use to you."

 

"Becoming stronger...how exactly?" Gexln questioned, crossing his arms. He then uncrossed his arms and sat down. "Something i've been wondering for a while..do heartless have names? Or are you just called your class?" Gexln asked, curious.

 

"Class, unless Master wishes me a name?" The NeoShadow gave an almost thoughtful expression, quickly hardening. "And I would only grow stronger by eating hearts, evolving as I grow stronger. I already know cannibalism is an option, tis a price to pay for them, but if it can make me a better servant to you, so be it."
