Digital Art Kingdom Hearts Pactio Cards!

Well, okay. Technically I've only made one so far. But it was only because I was bored. :xp: As far as I can see NO ONE has used this idea yet and I'm glad to have been the first one to come up with it.

For those of you who aren't fans of Negima! Magister Negi Magi:

And for those of you who DO know what I'm talking about, I'm fully aware that the letter "K" is not used in the Latin alphabet, but I didn't want people asking why I spelled Kairi's name "Cairi."

Anyway, because most of the words are in Latin, here's some of the translations:

• "Tonus" means "Color Tone."
• "Album" means "White."
• "Virtus" means "Strength."
• "Directio" means "Direction."
• "Astralitas" is meant to pertain to a person's association with a guardian planet. In astrology, even the Sun and Moon are considered planets.
• I chose "Neptunus" because of Kairi's link to water.
• The words "Charta Ministralis" at the top of each card means "Official Record".
• "Caritas" means "Love."
• "Centrum" means "Center."
• "Pectus Procer" literally means "Heart Princess."

And finally, each card usually has a Roman numeral in its upper-left and bottom-right corners. Usually this would pertain to a certain aspect of whoever's shown on the card. I chose the number "3" because I figured Kairi's part of the original Destiny Islands trio.

When I have the time (and I'm bored), I'll probably make another card. (Most likely Namine.)

• "Sapientia" means "Intelligence"
• "Septentrio" means "North."
• "Memoria Veneficus" literally means "Memory Witch."

I chose "Neptunus" because of his link to water. (Duh!)
"Fides" means "Loyalty"
"Occidens" means "West."
"Unda Presul" literally means "Water Dancer."
And the Pactio Number "IX" is "9." (Again, duh!)

Roxas Pactio

This is for all the Roxas fangirls out there (but mainly because Luminey asked so nicely. :p)

Just to forewarn you that it was hard finding a high quality render of Roxas in his Organization uniform. Yeah, I could've used the casual clothes one, but the point of a pactio card is to show the Ministra's weapon.

I also realized that the reason it's hard to see the text is because using the usual color for the text doesn't mix well with the black cloaks of the Organization. Go figure. :huh:

So anyway, imagine standing in the middle of a glowing magic circle with Roxas. A warm light that seems to shine right through you starts blowing a gentle breeze upward from beneath your feet. Now imagine your lips meeting his and...

...this pops out of thin air. The pactio has been completed. You've got the Roxas card. And now Roxas is running away before the other fangirls mob him for kissing only one girl. ;)

"Argentum" means "Silver."
"Audacia" means "Courage"
"Oriens" means "East."
"Crepusculum Nemo" literally means "Twilight Nobody."
The Pactio Number "XIII" is "13."
And don't ask me why I chose Uranus as his planet. It was available from a default card and I was too lazy to change it. :xp:

@Destined: I'd open a sig shop, but unfortunately, that would mean that I'd be taking valuable time that I could be using to work on my next chapters. Each card usually takes me about a day and a half to make. More if I have to add in the little things such as magical artifacts (like Namine and Zexion).

do you have it? i have it its pretty awesome(the manga is too)

but in the description of the pactio cards it says

that unusual colors are:

crimsom
silver
gold

i always thought namine color was more to the white and the oriens thing can mean many things

 

Huge fan, but...

Yeah. But I don't always keep it in easy reach due to the fact that I have minors snooping around, so I don't keep it out in plain sight for reference.

I didn't have a chance to research it, so I wouldn't know.

I was going to use white on Namine, but I had already used it on Kairi. I didn't want them both to have the same exact color. And since these take me awhile to do, I didn't feel like going back and changing Kairi's color. So, as of right now, Kairi stays white and Namine stays gold.

As for the "oriens"...

Naminé and gold are good 'cause Naminé's hair is gold :p

Sora Pactio

Yeah. The one everyone's been waiting for. (Well, not everyone.) The Sora Pactio Card!

It seems someone tricked Sora into the magic circle. And whoever it was is kissing him for all its worth!

As soon as the card appears, he bolts out of sight. But you've got your prize. :p

I chose Sol (the Sun) because of his link with light.

And by the way. Take a closer look at those Keyblades he's wielding. :sly:

Looks more like

Looks more Like Kairi's Destiny Island themed Keyblade with The Gullwing Keyblade beside it.
Riku's has darker colors like purple black and red, plus it's shorter.

 

It's not gullwing, Gullwing has bows on the shaft, way to Dawn Doesn't
