Nero nodded as he turned to face Kaori."Yeah..I was in the neighborhood and saw Roxas getting a small black box,so I knew something big was going to happen..''

 

Kaori crossed her arms. "Did Dante tell you what happened in The World That Never Was?" she asked him.

 

"Yes..but there was little I could do about that,luckily Lady was there to help you.."Nero mumbled.

"It was nothing..''Lady shrugged.

 

"You helped me?" asked Kaori looking over at Lady. "How?All I remember is my gunblade somehow being shot out of my hand.And then that's when Leon showed up."

 

"The original plan was for me to shoot you in the head while Dante had you distracted..but I made it look like a misfire..''Lady explained.

 

"So Dante told you to kill me while I had my back turned." said Kaori. "But instead of shooting me in the head you shot my gunblade instead."

Hatsumi looked up at Kaori when she heard her say 'Dante told you to kill me'.She hugged Kaori's leg tightly.

 

"Exactly...''Lady explained,taking a seat on the couch next to Leon,who was still sleeping.

 

"Hm,well thank you.Glad I'm still alive because of you." said Kaori smiling a little.

 

"No problem,sweettheart..''Lady looked down at Hatsumi and smiled.She held her hand out."Come here sweety..''

 

Hatsumi looked up at Kaori.Kaori slightly pushed Hatsumi to get closer to Lady.Hatsumi grabbed Lady's hand and walked over to her.

 

Lady grabbed her by the hips and set Hatsumi on her lap."You are the cutest thing!"she began running her finger along Hatsumi's soft cheek."Roxas and you made an adorable baby together..''she told Kaori.

 

Kaori rubbed the back of her head,smiling. "Eh,thank you."

 

"Back!"Roxas said upon entering.He blinked when he saw Nero with Axel and Lady with Hatsumi.Nero had quickly explained why they were there."Well,its good to see you!"

 

Kaori crossed her arms. "So you guys just came for what Roxas asked me last night?"

 

"..Yeah..sorry for eavesdropping..''Nero apologized.

"So you both know?"Roxas asked.

Lady nodded."yes,sorry to ruin the potential surprise...Nero..do I really have to keep..''she groaned.

Nero rolled his eyes and looked at Lady."OK,fine..be yourself..''

And with that,,Lady set Hatsumi on the ground and sighed with cheerfulness."Finally..I was getting tired of that innocent routine..''

 

"What innocent routine?" asked Kaori.

 

"I act like a goody two-shoes..."Lady explained.

Kairi gasped when Daxma suddenly collappsed and she caught him before he hit the ground. "Daxma?!" She looked at him, noting that he was wounded badly. What was that white lightning stuff? She wondered.

Ven sat up and rubbed his eyes sleepily when he awoke.

 

Kaori was a bit confused.

Hatsumi saw Kaori's ring. "Oh,what a pretty ring.Who gave it to you Mommy?"
