first off
yes they all work, i've used them several times
you fall but i think they all have infinite jump equiped in them, so when you start to fall just keep pressing circle

 

i was using it and while lookin for the throne room i some how ended up in the world that never was then i ended up in the mansion and kept playing till the game froze
ima try to go to the islands now
