Hello chaps, was hoping someone could give me some assistance. Utterly new when it comes to this sort of thing aside from what I've picked up on youtube and the 1st page of this thread.

This is meant to level up my drive forms to max yet I don't get any xp towards them. Can anyone see where I've gone wrong? Just reached Hollow Bastion if that helps.

Edit: Figured out a work around using the Drive Form exp multiplier. Still don't know why the original code didn't work.

may I ask exactly where you found the code? chances are its either a asm hack or a older code that has compatibility problems or is just buggy.

 

Here. From the 1st page under the "Drive/Summon/Form/Growth" tab(?). It is the "Drive Forms Level up to 9 After One Hit" code. I've just changed the comment text a bit. It doesn't really matter anymore because, as I mention in my edit, I've found a workaround by using the Drive form exp multiplier, also found in the OP. The only reason I can think of as to why it didn't work is that, as it is so early in the game, it is impossible to reach Level 7 with a drive form at that stage of the game.

 

Alright. I was wondering if anyone knows the codes/how to do these five things:

1. Change the Maximum HP and MP.

2. Hack the music in the game.

3. Make a new difficulty.

4. Change the Strength, Magic, and Ability of a Keyblade.

5. Change the Health and AI of enemies and bosses.

1: you can mod maximum HP and MP by using the character stats list found in the attachments on the op.

2: Please elaborate more on what it is you mean by hack the music.

3: front page most likely but not 100% sure as I don't use difficulty mods, only one I know of is the Heaven or Hell mode code in the op>(front page) under *Miscellaneous*.

4: not sure

5: watch this tutorial on ai modding, as for heath...boss stats on the front page!

 

1. By editing HP and MP, I actually want to reduce it.
2. By hacking the music, let's say I want to replace a song, such as Rage Awakened, with a completely different song, like Through The Fire and Flames.

So, a few days ago I started having this weird problem with modding KH2FM, (with PCSX2 and emuhaste of course) the problem is:

Whenever I try to modify boss' movesets or it's A.I. the game just crashes (or freezes), only with those kinds of codes: modifying enemies "normal behaviour". It doesn't crash immediately, but whenever I load the battle or the enemy does the move I changed. And this just happened randomly: I don't remeber changing any setting on my pcsx2 and that's just the weird part of it. I tried troubleshooting for few days now and I can't come up with solution to this problem. If anyone has ever heard of this kind of problem and wants to help me with this I would be so thankful to you. And of course I can post the "crash report" or whatever from the console of pcsx2 if you need it.

I'm not sure if it was posted anywhere or if it was done, but is there a cheat or patch to swap X and O for people jumping from the original US Kingdom Hearts game? I mean, I could just get used to it, but thought I'd ask just in case. Thanks guys!

well first of all you need to play around with different values to get the amount of hp you want, the easiest way to find the value you want would be to use the windows calculator, just play around with numbers 1 - 255, 255 is the maximum amount of hp sora can have. Just test the different values from 1 - 255 in windows calculator and test each value on you emulator till you get the amount of hp you are looking for. Oh also you need to user the programmer interface on the windows calculator, you can enable the programmer interface by going to one of the drop down menu's on the calculator and selecting programmer. I'm on windows 10, so my calculator may look different then yours dipending on what windows operating system you are currently using.

Edit: I just notice you were also looking to change the maximum MP too. Ironically I happen to have a code for mp as well.

do the same thing with the MP code that you do with the HP code. value of 78 is the default value for Proud Mode MP and HP.

for Critical HP and MP 3C is the default value for Critical Mode HP and MP.

This is something you need to do via emuhaste.
AI can be tedious, and crashing is honestly a large part of modding.
And some msets don't mod well. Who are you trying to mod?

It would be the HP Code and the MP Code.

The last 60fps you got is kinda unneeded.
The two toggles do that, but also fix fmvs and make them play correctly

You'd remove them from your pnach.
Then you should be able to get health, take damage, etc.
Though restoring it to where you are in the story-mode, depends how far you are, what difficulty, etc, that is kinda important info. I mayself always play on critical. so max hp is 60, and health increases are in increments of 2, every other is of 5.
MP is incrimaments of 5 on cm, and 10 on every other.

 

Once the hp code and mp code is activated you need to remove them from the code list for them the deplete otherwise they will just be infinitely full gauges. Sorry that I failed to mention that part.Dx
