Woohoo. I have been wanting to play this version for a long time. I haven't had much time to play my ps3 copy so I have been playing the other versions and i's been great to see how they've progressed. I am grateful to everyone who ever worked on this and am glad to see we finally now have a completed version. You guys all rock. Thank you much.

Noice! btw is there any chance that you guys know how to add the combo master hack in? If you can do it for me or atleast point me in the right direction I would appreciate it very much. Here's the video I saw:

 

I'm sorry but that is for the 1.5 ReMIX on the PS3. I wanted to add it to the PS2 version so that it would be more like the ReMIX. Everything is pretty much the same now except that it lacks the abilities EXP Zero and Combo Master which was only added recently in the 1.5 ReMIX.

 

I'm not sure how to use cheat codes that great but I do have a pnach file I setup for pcsx2 that works well and allows the combo master move.

So I recently played the game with your patch installed. And It runs fine most of the time, but I am not sure if this glitch happened to anyone, but everytime I defeated Kurt Zisa, the Zantetsuken ability is not given to me.

I have yet to encounter the Jet Balloon but I have been farming every other secret heartless pretty easily. (Hi - Potion spamming Grand Ghost is too easy).[DOUBLEPOST=1480148936][/DOUBLEPOST]I can confirm that all exclusive heartless can still be encountered. Jet Balloons are a pain. I will proceed to finish Hollow Bastion and then check if I would be able to get Zantetsuken.

 

So far I have been able to encounter The Sniperwilds, Gigas Shadows, The huge pink mushroom, and the black floating heartless that splits into five. I have yet to encounter the other special heartless.

 

*Bugs Update*
- ALL special heartless can still be encountered so no worries there.
- Zantetsuken along with Ansem Report 11 is NOT given to you upon victory against Kurt Zisa. An easy fix is too swap to the original iso (japanese) just for this fight, save then load it with the patched iso. Please fix this as many players will never be able to complete the journal should they miss this post and save over their file after the fight.
- The ability information shows other info of other abilities. (Harmless Bug as it usually just shows the next ability this character will learn or if it was the last ability, then it will show the first ability of the next character.)

I just realized that I don't have encounter plus... at all. This... can't be... My perfect save file is ruined. Whatever. Please fix not getting Encounter Plus after synthing 15 items do no one else will have to suffer. The fix is probably identical to the one above.

 

The Encounter Plus is a glitch too, i'll fix too, it's easy to fix ;)

 

I found another bug. There is a red trinity in Halloween Town where you fight Oogie Boogie 2 which cannot be activated (in the original KH1 this trinity wasn't there).

 

I noticed this too, but after a quick google search I found out that it's actually an indicator if the Chimera (Special Heartless) will spawn. It's even in the 1.5 ReMIX. The original KH1 doesn't have it because the trinity was placed somewhere else. Although, I have never seen this trinity disappear yet... even if the Chimera spawns or not it's still there. Anyway, chances are you already activated it once before and just forgot about it.

 

Is it a bug when Ragnarok sometimes does not work properly? Like it fails to give me the prompt to use it when it should have given me the prompt.

 

I also finished the game and did not get the ansem report and ability from Kurt Ziza. Good to know it was a bug I guess. :)

 

It works perfectly for me in my case. All I can think of is that you probably don't have it equipped or your target is on the ground. You need to be locked on to an aerial target. A good example would be the Pink Agaricus. You can perform Ragnarok on it ONLY if you lock on to his head since you might accidentally lock on to his body instead. You could have also possibly be out of MP during that time you tried to activate it but I doubt you made that silly mistake and not notice.
