Namine exhaled silently, lowering her head a little bit as the tears continued to fall. Her eyes flickered shut as they fell, some colliding with the hand that still rested on her cheek. Her left hand covered the marks on that side of her face, but the ones on her other cheek could be seen slightly through the blonde hair that had come down into Namine's face without her noticing.

 

Roxas blinked once, but his eyes immediately focused on Namine again, watching her with concern and care. He loved her to a great degree and hated to see her suffer, but sometimes people just needed to get things out of their system. Unfortunately Namine had to do that, and that would be to cry. Roxas kept his eyes on her, compassion swimming in their ocean-blue depths.

 

Namine knew that Roxas didn't want to see her cry, so she tried to regain her composure as quickly as she could. However, she couldn't bring herself to look up at him, or remove her hand from her cheek. She felt self-concious for some reason...thinking that she didn't want him seeing her like this. She sniffled again, forcing the tears to slow down as her eyes stayed shut.

 

Roxas let his thumb roam over Namine's skin slowly, trying to comfort her the best he could in this situation. She seemed so sad... "It's okay," he said again, his tone soft and gentle.

 

Namine's eyes flickered open at the voice, and she turned her head again, looking Roxas in the eye. Her eyes were only moist now, no more tears falling. However, her hand remained on her cheek. Those marks were a reminder that she had been abused.

 

Roxas kept his left hand in Namine's as he tilted his head to the side slightly, his eyes holding concern for the girl he loved. He stayed silent for a moment, his gaze resting on her face. Namine's hand had been on her cheek for a while now, and he wasn't sure why. With his right hand, Roxas reached over his body and to hers, letting his hand rest on hers that was on her cheek. He let his fingers lightly wrap around Namine's hand before gently lowering her hand from her face.

 

Namine lowered her gaze at the movement, her eyes catching onto Roxas' gentle motion. He had noticed that she was covering her cheek, and she supposed he wanted to make sure she was alright. Namine gave in to Roxas' movement, letting him lower her hand without a fight.

 

Roxas noticed then, after lowering her hand, that Namine had been covering up one of the marks that Smith had left on her. He kept his hold on Namine's hand, now holding both of hers as he looked at her. Was she self-concious about her appearance? "You're beautiful," Roxas told her softly, his tone filled with honesty and love, and at the same time assuring her that despite the bruises she had on her face, she was still gorgeous in his eyes.

 

Namine's eyes quivered slightly, emotions rising up from her heart. Roxas' words were very comforting, and they were starting to overcome the sorrow and fear she felt from her nightmare. She held his gaze, tears no longer appearing as Namine calmed down.

 

Roxas's gaze stayed locked on Namine's eyes, which were no longer forming tears. He felt the corners of his lips turn up very faintly into a weak yet comforting smile, offering it to the girl next to him. She deserved the very best care and comfort after all she had gone through, some of it being what Roxas didn't even want to imagine.

 

Namine kept a light bite on her lip, though her lips did turn up slightly when Roxas smiled faintly. As long as he was with her, she would be all right. And that was the truth. Smith...Brian...Jeff...They couldn't tear Namine and Roxas apart. Not now, at their lowest point, or ever.

 

Roxas looked into Namine's eyes for a moment longer, noticing that her sky-blue orbs were still holding a bit of sadness. Hopefully that would clear up soon; Roxas never did like to see Namine so down, but again, he knew that sometimes you just had to let your emotions run freely.

 

Namine shut her eyes almost completely as she leaned over, planting a light kiss on Roxas' lips. She had been so afraid...so sure that she had lost him. But it was only a dream; Roxas was still with her. She was so glad for that, and because of her relief, she gave him that light kiss. After a moment, she pulled back, her eyes opening fully again as she gazed at Roxas.

 

Roxas opened his bright blue eyes, which had closed during the kiss, and they found Namine once more. He felt a smile form on his lips slightly at her gesture, and he squeezed one of her hands still within his grasp.

 

Namine smiled weakly, noticing that Roxas seemed a little more content now that she had stopped crying. He was really comforting her, and she appreciated it. She gently slid one of her hands out of his as she moved herself closer to him, wrapping an arm around him in an embrace.

 

Roxas let his now free arm wrap around Namine's form in response, returning her soft embrace. He pulled her close and lowered his head slightly, kissing Namine's blonde hair for a brief moment. He pulled back, exhaling a soft breath.

 

Namine smiled faintly at the gesture, her eyes closing as she let her head rest against Roxas' shoulder. His embrace was warm, his gesture soft. She was so lucky to have him in her life; it was impossible to imagine life without him.

 

Roxas let his hand lightly rub over Namine's back as he looked down at her. "I love you," he said softly, the words coming from his heart. He was sure it was obvious by his actions, but he couldn't fight the urge to say it anyway.

Namine opened her eyes a crack, hearing Roxas' soft-spoken words. "I love you too," Namine responded softly, her voice almost a whisper. Roxas' kind words and soothing gesture were very comforting, and together they were starting to relax Namine's tense muscles.

OOC: Okay, hopefully I'll see you tomorrow!

 

Roxas smiled faintly at Namine's words, his eyes staying on her. He continued to let his hand run over her back, silence engulfing the room.
