Namine felt herself relax slightly, not realizing that she was still tense until Roxas wrapped his arm around her. Her gaze stayed lower as she cuddled a little closer to him, feeling warmth from his gesture.

 

Roxas felt the corners of his lips turn up slightly when Namine moved closer to him, the boy letting his hand wrap around the other side of her shoulder as he kept his arm around her. His eyes gently observed her movements, Roxas staying silent.

 

Namine exhaled softly, waiting a moment before she flitted her eyes upward, feeling Roxas' gentle gaze resting on her. She immediatly met his eyes, and that naturally brought a small smile to her lips.

 

Roxas's smile grew a little when he noticed Namine's expression, his eyes connecting with hers. In their light blue depths, he could make out some peace within them, as well as exhaustion.

 

Namine lowered her head slightly, her eyes shutting almost completely as she lightly leaned her head against Roxas. Gosh, she felt so exhausted. After everything that had happened just that morning, Namine almost wished she could just crawl into a hole and sleep there forever. That would be less painful than the road to recovery she knew she had to take. But she knew things would be alright, since Roxas' had promised they would be. And she knew she wasn't going to travel that road alone, either.

 

Roxas's smile faded, but his eyes stayed on Namine. Once she got her rest, he would help her get past this mess; he had to move on too, even though he knew it wasn't going to be that easy. What happened to them was a disaster, tragic, and Roxas knew that an experience such as this didn't leave a person quickly. Regardless, he was going to stay by Namine's side to help her out; she was more important--her safety, her well-being, her life. And once the emotional bit of this was done, he would help her recover from her vulnerability, by teaching her self-defense. Roxas was very serious about that, and he meant what he said; if she wanted to learn, he would gladly teach her.

 

Namine felt her eyelids become more heavy, so she let her eyes close again, feeling more comfortable. At least she could get away from her problems for a little while now, in her sleep. She was sure that as long as Roxas was holding her, she wasn't going to have any nightmares. He really was her guardian angel...all the time. He was always so selfless, and she knew he wouldn't want it any other way. This thought made Namine feel a little bit more comfortable, the girl starting to doze off.

 

Roxas lowered his head slightly, silently giving Namine a gentle kiss on the top of her head. After a moment, he pulled back, letting his hand that was around her shoulder gently rub her upper arm. He wanted her to get some rest, and hopefully it was peaceful.

 

Namine exhaled silently, the breath leaving through her nose. Roxas' gentleness was like a loving lullaby, calling her to sleep. Without thought, she turned her head a little, letting it rest more on Roxas' shoulder in comfort.

 

Roxas inhaled a soft breath, letting his eyes rest on Namine for a little longer. His gentle rubbing motion continued along her upper arm, silence engulfing the room as the girl in his arms began to fall asleep.

 

Namine was faintly aware that Roxas was still rubbing her arm, but that soft feeling started to fade as she drifted into unconciousness, the girl becoming less aware of her surroundings. Exhaling one final breath, Namine drifted into a light state of sleep.

 

Roxas felt Namine's body relax a little, and he knew then by that and her even breathing that she was already sleeping. His rubbing motion continued anyway, the boy turning his head and leaning it against the back of the couch as he looked up at the celing a little tiredly.

 

Though Namine was already asleep, she still felt the warm presence of Roxas. She knew he hadn't left her, and that comforted her, chasing away any of the nightmares she would have had if it were not for his protective presence.

 

Roxas shut his eyes to relax, but once he did, he realized that his eyelids were suddenly very heavy. He figured he must have been more tired than he really thought. Roxas turned his head toward Namine slightly without thought, exhaling a silent breath through his nose. The rubbing motion on Namine's arm started to slow a little, sleep starting to come to Roxas.

 

Namine inhaled silently before releasing the breath, her breathing at a calm pace as she slept in peace, surrounded by the security of Roxas' embrace.

 

Roxas felt his body relax into the couch as he started to doze off. He didn't really mind, though, considering that one of the problems among him and Namine was solved and the fact that he was sitting next to her again, since their separation the night before. It had been the entire night that they had been without each other, and even then it felt like an eternity. Roxas's hand gradually came to a stop on Namine's upper arm, the boy's hand resting lightly against Namine's shoulder as sleep took him over.

OOC: Unfortunately, my mom's kicking me off now. I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!

 

Namine lightly kept her head against Roxas' shoulder, aware that the air around them was not very heavy as she slept. She assumed that he was asleep as well, and she was glad for that; Roxas deserved to get some rest.

Roxas inhaled a breath softly, starting to come out of the blackness of his unconcious. His eyebrows furrowed slightly as he turned his head a little, his neck stiff. A breath left him as he opened his eyes, blinking his eyelids a few times to adjust to the new lighting. Still a little groggy, Roxas was slightly aware of someone beside him.

 

Namine exhaled silently in her sleep, unaware that the boy beside her was waking up. Thus far, she had slept peacefully, no dreams haunting her in her sleep. Though she didn't think about it, she still felt Roxas' presence.

 

Roxas lowered his eyes, his gaze catching onto a blonde lying against him. His arm was still wrapped around her shoulder, which had held her close while he apparently had slept. Namine... She looked like she was resting peacefully, and he could only hope that was true; she deserved it.
