Sora saw Roxas' fast move and he did the same, charging forward with Keyblade in hand. Though Roxas was probably going to get there first, Sora would be a good distraction.

Smith's eyes widened his eyes darting from Roxas to Sora and then back to the blonde boy. He couldn't possibly block them both at once!

 

Roxas approached Smith quickly, catching Sora out of the corner of his eye doing the same. The boy lifted his Keyblades, getting ready to strike Smith as he rapidly reached him.

 

Smith brought up his blade to defend himself, unsure of which attack was going to come first. Both boys were running at the same speed, and he couldn't tell which one posed more of a threat.

Sora quickly approached Smith, his Keyblade up as he readied to attack. Or at least, provide a decent distraction.

 

With a battle cry, Roxas swung his Keyblades at Smith, the cry leaving his throat from all the force he put behind the swing.

 

Smith brought up his blade, Roxas' Keyblades both coming in contact with his. He pressed back against him, but his strength faded when he felt another blade come in contact with his side. Sora's Keyblade.

Sora slashed at Smith's side as he charged past him, his Keyblade hitting him with much force while Roxas kept him occupied.

 

Roxas shoved Smith back with his Keyblades after the force behind Smith's block faded when Sora struck him with his Keyblade. He then swiped horizontally at the man with Oblivion.

 

Smith stumbled to regain his footing, going back a few feet as he ragained his footing. Then he saw Roxas' other blade coming at him, and he jumped back, his blade coming out of contact with Roxas'.

Sora saw Smith jump back toward him and Sora raised his Keyblade to strike him. However, Smith pivoted, his blade blocking Sora's just in time.

 

With Smith's blade being locked with Sora's, Roxas made a quick decision; he lept up into the air and as he started to come back down, brought Oathkeeper and Oblivion down from above his head to strike Smith.

 

Sora effectively kept Smith distracted, his Keyblade pressing against Smith's gunblade. He held the man's glare, aware that Roxas was coming in to attack from behind.

 

Roxas brought his Keyblades down, his weapons coming in contact with Smith's back as they struck him vertically. The boy landed on the ground in a crouched position, his Keyblades at his sides and in his tight grasp.

 

Smith cried out in pain, two blades cutting through his back. The pressure of his blade became less, and he felt Sora's Keyblade come closer to him.

 

Roxas looked up at the cry, still in the crouched position. His right shoulder rang out in pain, as well as his other injuries. But he ignored them, knowing that this fight was more important. He would have to push through the pain to obtain the victory alongside Sora.

 

Sora pushed harder against Smith's blade, feeling Smith weaken because of Roxas' blow. So far so good; they were winning.

 

Roxas grit his teeth together as he shot up from his position, bringing his weapons and slashing up as he stood. He was angry now, just thinking of all this man had caused alone.

 

Smith winced, feeling Roxas' blades hit him again. He brought one foot back, kicking the blonde Nobody from where he stood.

 

Roxas winced at the strong kick, stumbling back a little. He definitely wasn't expecting that move.

 

Sora gritted his teeth together, seeing Roxas stumble. He pressed harder against Smith's gunblade, but the man suddenly started to push back with more force, quickly over powering Sora. But he stood his ground the best he could, keeping Smith's blade away from him the best he could.

 

After a second, Roxas regained his footing. He gripped his Keyblades tightly as he glared at Smith, charging forward again. He wasn't giving up that easily.

 

Sora struggled, his weakness from earlier coming back to haunt him. He furrowed his eyebrows, pressing back the best he could.

 

Roxas suddenly changed his direction, darting to the side slightly. He then dashed toward Smith again, this time from the man's side. The boy lifted up his blades as he approached Smith, slashing them in an X formation against the man as he charged past him.
