Kingdom Hearts- FFM V3!

Please God, she prayed again, her eyes falling shut. Please, don't take him away. He can't die yet...I can't surive without him. He's too dear to me. Please... A single tear started to slide down her cheek. The tear didn't have a chance to fall, for she brought up her free hand and wiped at it before it got halfway down her cheek.

 

Roxas didn't hear her voice anymore...and he felt that, without it, he was losing the battle between light and dark; the light was her...Namine, and even the faintness of her voice helped bring him out of the blackness that was trying to encase him. But he didn't hear it anymore, and he felt like he was slipping.

Kairi's eyes lowered slightly, the silence being something she didn't want to surround the three of them. That meant something bad...didn't it?

 

Namine started to run a hand lightly over Roxas' hair, her gaze never leaving him. She had a feeling that he was still with her...it was just something she felt in her heart. But she didn't understand why he wasn't responding, and it made her feel a bit of hopelessness. But she chased away that feeling, knowing that right now she needed to be brave. "Roxas, please wake up," she pleaded again, her voice quiet and tearfilled.

 

There! He heard her again! Her voice, Namine's voice... But it sounded so torn, and filled with sorrow. Regardless, Roxas felt the darkness starting to slip away from him, just at the faint sound of her voice. Slowly, he started to come out of his unconcious state, the boy taking in a very faint and silent breath through his nose.

Kairi caught something out of the corner of her eye, a faint movement. She lifted her gaze a little, her eyes falling on Roxas' chest. She could have sworn she saw it rise faintly, as if he were taking a breath. Her gaze stayed there, but she couldn't help but think she was just thinking she saw it. She must have been imagining things...right?

 

"You can't be gone," Namine pleaded softly, her tear filled eyes staying on Roxas. The tears wanted to leave her, but surprisingly, they stayed in the rims of her eyes. She sniffled softly, starting to feel more hoplessness when Roxas' didn't respond. What if he was already...? "Don't leave me..." Namine whispered, contradicting that previous thought.

 

Namine's pleads continued to fill Roxas' ears, and only one thought entered his mind. I would never leave you, he wanted to say. He wasn't quite there yet, though. As he started to regain conciousness, he also started to gain back the pain, the surges of hurt in his body. They started out faint, like Namine's voice, but they began to grow stronger.

 

"...Please." That one simple word left Namine's lips again, and it was the only sound she was aware of at that moment. The only thing that mattered to her was Roxas now, and he appeared to have been gone. A tear escaped her eye and slowly started to run down her cheek, her eyes closing in sorrow.

 

Roxas' senses started to come back; he could smell the dusty air of the warehouse and hear the sounds of Namine's pleads much clearer, as well as the noises of battle. He could feel pain in what felt like every part of his body, the pounding of his head returning as he slowly gained conciousness.

 

"...Don't leave me," Namine repeated softly, her eyes staying closed. The hope within her was starting to fade with each passing moment, and she was starting to believe what appeared to be the truth. Roxas...he was gone. Her wishes were not coming true today, no matter how much she pleaded. At least, that was how it seemed to her.

 

Roxas furrowed his brows slightly as he drew in a breath, the pounding hurting his head, but Namine's plead causing him to forget it. He slowly opened his eyes, but he had to blink a few times to adjust. He opened his eyelids again, his bright blue eyes falling on the angelic face above him. He saw a stray tear on her cheek and noticed her eyes were closed. But Namine's plead was still ringing in his ears. A small, faint smile came to his lips as he looked up at her. "I'm not leaving you," he started softly. "Not now...not ever."

 

Namine's tear-filled eyes opened at the words, the girl looking down at the boy who laid on the floor. "Roxas," she spoke his name a little more loudly than she had been speaking before, relief coming through in her voice. He wasn't gone...he was still with her. And he had a faint smile on his lips, showing her that he sincerely meant the words. Another tear ran down her cheek, but this time, it was a tear of relief.

 

Kairi felt a smile come to her lips, now knowing that Roxas was indeed okay, and alive.

Roxas' smile stayed on his lips as he looked up at the girl he loved so much, the girl that brought him back. He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head, causing him to squeeze his eyes shut for a second. "Don't...cry," he said, fighting back the pain as he opened his eyes again. The pounding in his head was halted for a moment, allowing him to faintly smile again. "I'm okay."

 

Namine felt her tears start to disapear as she looked down at the boy, a soft smile still on his lips. "Really?" she asked softly, needing to be absolutely certain. He didn't look too good, but it was definitly a good thing that he was speaking to her now.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on Namine's. "Just a few scratches," he said, his faint smile still on his lips. He knew it was more than that, though; his head was pounding, and his back was aching from his crash into the wall. His shoulder still hurt too, along with the other cuts that he had. But he had to look past them, and finish what was already started.

 

Namine felt a faint smile appear on her lips, a sense of relief washing over her. Roxas' words were comforting, but his smile had the most soothing effect, even if it was small. She started to believe his words, just like she believed in him. He hadn't left her before...and he wasn't going to leave her now.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on Namine, grateful to even have her. She was the one he had heard a few minutes ago, and she was the one who brought him back. Namine was his light in the dark; she never gave up on him when it seemed things were hopeless, just like a minute ago. He loved her for that, but he loved her for her.

 

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas, not wanting to look away from his gentle ocean-blue orbs. Gosh, she loved him. She loved him completely, and if he would have been gone...Namine chased away the thought. Her hand lightly ran over Roxas' hair, her fingers running through a few of his spikes as his head sat in her lap.

 

Roxas exhaled a soft breath through his nose at the gesture, closing his eyes slowly for a second before he opened them again. His azure orbs met the light blue he loved, his small smile growing slightly at her comforting presence.

 

Namine softly gazed into Roxas' eyes, a gentle smile on her lips. Gosh, she was so glad to see him concious again. When he was out earlier, she had thought he was gone...forever. But no, he hadn't left her, thank goodness. He was still there, with her.

 

Roxas let his eyes stay locked with Namine's, glad to have woken up and seen her first. She was the one who had woken him in the first place, and he was thankful for that; he didn't want to leave her...forever. And he was glad that she had helped him come back. His light in the dark...that was what she was. But she was also so much more.
