Kingdom Hearts- FFM V3!

Namine felt the restraints around her arms loosen before the rope completely fell away thanks to Roxas' efforts. Aware that his hand still sat on her arm, she slowly moved her arms forward. She opened her eyes partway as she lifted her right hand to her face, grabbing onto the duct tape on the edge as she started to peel it off. She furrowed her eyebrows slightly as the pulled on the sticky tape, her eyes closing again in discomfort.

Roxas let his hand come off Namine's arm, the other hand holding the knife. He moved so he was next to Namine's legs, the boy beginning to work on the ropes around her feet. He couldn't really hear anything outside the room, so he hoped everything with Sora was going okay.

Kairi had moved away from the doorway while Roxas had started tending to Namine's restraints, the girl now standing near the middle of the room, her eyes scanning it. This place was somewhat similar to where she was held, but deeper into this filthy warehouse, and a little bigger.

 

Namine kept her eyes closed as she pulled on the tape a bit more, feeling the tape come off harder than the other piece. This one had been on for a very short while, so she was sure that was partially why it was more difficult to get this one off. But after a moment, she finally finished, the tape off her face. Her eyes opened once it was done, and she held it on her hand before lowering it to the ground, letting it sit there as she gazed at it for a few brief moments.

 

Roxas continued to cut at the ropes, gently placing his left hand on Namine's lower leg when it began to take a little longer than expected. Smith really hadn't held back on the tying, the rope wound around Namine's feet a few times. Actually, Smith hadn't really held back at all...The marks beginning to show on Namine's face only proved that.

 

Namine bit her lip lightly, her eyes shutting again. She was so relieved that Roxas was there with her, even if it was out of pure obligation. Though Smith had stated that he didn't love her, she definitly loved him. She exhaled silently, having a nasty headache from everything that had happened within the past few hours.

 

Roxas' eyebrows had furrowed slightly in concentration, the blond boy focusing on getting the ropes off Namine. He continued to saw through them, close to being done with them. He couldn't wait to get Namine out of here, to have her safe again. This was all very stressful, and scary...as he could imagine for everyone. Getting rid of Smith and leaving this place was the main priority at this point, as well as keeping the girls away from harm.

 

Namine felt two primary feelings at that moment, guilt and relief. Relief that Roxas had come for her, but guilt for that same reason. Did he come out of love, or obligation? That's what Smith had accused him of doing. After all, how could anyone love a girl like Namine, who was always getting in trouble? Namine kept her eyes shut as she let the thoughts drop. She was too exhausted to think clearly; she at least recognized that much.

 

Roxas pushed a little harder on the knife, starting to cut through the last bit of the restraints on Namine's feet. His adrenaline was still within him, but it was a little less intense than it had been, now that he was here with her. He figured that relief had done that, the boy thankful to have found her...alive. Roxas sliced the knife right through the last thread of rope, dropping the knife next to him as he started to pull the ropes away from Namine's feet.

 

Namine opened her eyes partway when she heard a soft clang, her eyes falling on the knife. It was clear that Roxas hadn't given up, but he had succeeded in cutting through the ropes. After all, Roxas wouldn't have come this far just to give up when he couldn't get through the rope.

 

Roxas successfully pulled the ropes away, tossing them to the side. He lifted his head, his gaze falling on the blonde girl that had been held hostage...and looked so torn. He couldn't imagine what she had gone through. Roxas' gentle blue eyes gazed at the light blue, though they weren't on him at the moment.

 

Namine blinked softly one time, feeling a light gaze on her. The gentleness she felt behind them made her want to cry, but she successfully kept her emotions locked inside. She slowly flitted her eyes up to the teen, seeing concern in the ocean-blue orbs she had grown so familiar to.

 

Roxas' eyes softened when his eyes met the sky-blue orbs, not really liking the way so many emotions were stirred up inside them. He couldn't tell what emotions were what, and he could only guess that Smith was the cause of that. What had he done to Namine?

 

Namine bit her lip lightly when she saw Roxas' eyes soften, and she let her sight drop, her gaze falling to the ground. Whatever he had seen in her eyes had made him unhappy, and that increased her feeling of sadness even more than it had been.

 

Roxas' eyebrows went down slightly over his ocean-blue eyes, a look of curiosity and deep concern washing over his features. Still on his knees, he put one hand on the cold concrete floor as he moved closer to Namine. He didn't know what was wrong, and was worried. Roxas raised his hand, bringing it up and gently setting it on Namine's left shoulder, his eyes stuck on her.

 

Namine looked back up at Roxas when she felt his hand on her shoulder, her eyes finding his again. She saw the concern behind them, and this time, she couldn't stop the tears from flooding her eyes. They started to fill the rims of her eyes, but they didn't escape and run down her cheeks like many other tears had done earlier that night.

 

Roxas' eyebrows furrowed a little more, but not in a mad way; in a sad way, his eyes revealing his deep concern for Namine. He moved his left hand from his side, lifting it to Namine's face as he gently pushed a few strands away from her watery eyes. Gosh, what had Smith done to her?!

 

Namine felt one tear slide down her cheek, despite her efforts to keep it inside. Though Roxas' soft touch was comforting, Namine felt as if she wanted something more. Giving into the desire, she leaned forward a little bit and brought her arms up, lightly wrapping them around Roxas. She pulled herself close to him, her eyes closing as she kept her head on his shoulder.

 

Roxas didn't hesitate wrapping his arms around Namine, returning her embrace. He brought his right hand up, cupping the back of her blonde head. He had seen that tear just before she hugged him, and he couldn't help but want to hold her close either. Roxas subconciously held Namine closer to him, having been wanting her in his arms all night, ever since he got that call.

 

Namine exhaled softly, feeling a little more safe now that Roxas was holding her. She still didn't know what had happened to Smith...or Sora. Those feelings made her tense, but she didn't dare speak about either issue.

 

Roxas exhaled silently, closing his eyes as he stayed in that position. He felt so guilty for letting this happen... But...how could he have not known Smith was dead last time? Roxas had practically torn him apart, and the boy was completely clueless to how the man had recovered from that. Regardless, he was going to finish him this time; he hurt Namine...again, and he was definitely going to pay for that.
