Has anyone tried the Mirage Arena Enemy Replacement Codes online? I'm curious...

 

the current character modifier only lets you change to Terra, Aqua, and Ventus and their other costumes.

i tried it for the NTSC version. from what i heard, the Boss Replacement codes don't even work for Final Mix for whatever reason. it's ported correctly but i remember hearing it crashes after a few seconds if i recall correctly.

but it does indeed work for the NTSC version, i've fought Mysterious Figure with a friend. both people need to be using the same code though, otherwise one person will just be left in a room with no enemies.

BOLDED PART: That happened to me whenever I used codes at all. Not immediately, but after 4 Rounds or so.

Oh, and also, try this out: I was playing with my brother online, with command mods on, which got me Hero's Pride, Sky Climber, and other stuff. Now, he and I traded D-Links, and at first he looked at it, seeing only a magic command with nothing (literally nothing) on it, and he glared at me. (which I troll-faced him back. Hurr)

Now, when he activated the D-Link outside the battle, instead of an armored me with an orange tint (My Colored Armor), we got Zack with an orange tint, and he started out with Sonic Blade and Sky Climber. He played with it, and got the two Wayfinder Stars, and it still worked, even through save.

I think the trigger of Zack's Picture was "Hero's Pride" on the first command slot, which explains whenever I use a d-link with the commands on, it only goes to Zack's Picture, nobody elses... so if I use "Dark Splicer" or if it exists "All's End"(or whatever Ven's Finisher with Vanitas is) on the first slot... then I would be able to get Vanitas's Pick on my traded D-link?

I dunno, but this means we might have more ways of customizing our traded D-Links. I'm still testing this theory out with my brother, so expect more news to come! :D

i think he used the Command Modifiers (which are on the first page, in the text file attached i believe) and then transferred D-Links in the Mirage Arena.

 

Yep, that's correct. I also found out how to confirm D-Link Picture changes. Just grab one of the pre-made D-link's Finishes, and use the codes to put it on your first command. Once on there, use any other D-Link once on your deck, and it should show the new D-Links pic instead of the original

However, there is a chance it'll freeze if it has more then one command mods. BUT the D-Link should work perfectly with your friend. I probably need some more testers to help me out with this. (o♦o)

EDIT: Tested Vanitas's Finisher "Last Charge" with Ventus:

Works Fine, but passes maps borders and has no effects. In the end of the command, it sets you back to where you first execute it, and gives a "Dynamic Camera", as I like to call it.

As for D-Link, it gives the command bar, but no Vanitas Picture. Hmm...

EDIT2: My D-Link doesn't have Vanitas moves for my brother. It's possibly the fact that he is Aqua, and it'll only work for Ven. Still testing.

Vanitas's Move "Dark Splicer" makes me a statue when I use it, but works once I got Last Charge with it... still testing.

Could you test to see if it'll work to add the finisher in the finisher slot instead? That might be the easiest way to do it.

EDIT: Ladies and Gentlemen, the project was a success. The Finisher for Vanitas does work outside the battle, with no effects however. It works just like a regular finish, just rename your current finisher and it should work. Heck, it even has the Ruby/Black background for the command.

As for the D-Link... hehe... It also works!! Playing with it on my PSP, I have the modded moves given to me on the D-Link, and using the Finisher I have Last Charge fully capable and running, without it doing any freaky stuff so far.

Unfortunately, it has no Vanitas Pic still. I haven't Tried actually getting the Real Vanitas D-Link yet, so... hurm...

However, in my eyes... this means that people can save modded commands without any reprocussions, freezes or bricking points! It can also be used for giving people who don't have CWcheat or any coding programs a taste of breaking limits (Proof: My brother. Doesn't have CWcheat, yet is using my D-Link for killing Braig with Aqua! :D).

Boss War was Hacked, i made it for FM and the boss digits from the US dosen't work, SE changed it's values.

right now there isn't a way to play as zack or mickey so the answer is no.:/

 

I have a question. Does the character mod work fully, like for instance playing as terra in ven's story? Because whenever I use it, it freezes up on me unless I'm playing as helmet less or fully armored versions of the same character on that save file.

Is there some sort of event, flag, or anything that would allow me to play as other characters, or is it just original BBS only?
