Kingdom Hearts and the Legend of Dragoon

Shen looked at Lenne then looked at the pendant that Kai had and stared at it

 

"Alright......." Kai sighed. Kyo walked to the gummi ship and pushed a few buttons. "Cid, can you ask Merlin to look information about any other kingdoms here?"

 

"I'll ask him. Not sure if he'll be able to find anything though."

 

"Well, we found some interesting information here. Shen is from another kingdom and the pendant holds great powers. Kai entered the darkness........"

 

Shen remained quiet as he watched what was going on

 

"Yeah, Merlin saw that. He said to tell Michael and Kai that they can expect their children to be born tomorrow."

 

"Will do." Kyo turned it off and walked back to the inn. He walked up to Kai and Micheal. "I talked with Cid, he has a message from Merlin: 'Expect the child tomorrow'."

"What?!"

"He saw Kai give up her heart."

 

"I wasn't expecting it tomorrow. I figured she had a few weeks before she gave birth."

 

"Well, that was Merlin says. Cid told me he saw Kai used Riku's keyblade on her heart and he wanted me to tell you that."

 

"You think that's what is causing the child to develop faster?"

 

"Could be. I'll ask him when we head back to Radiant Garden."

 

Shen decided to go so he started to walk away

 

"In any case, we should get some rest for tomorrow."

 

Kyo nodded and headed for his room. Riku gave Kairi a bucket and she filled it with warm water. She placed it on a desk and ran to her room.

 

Michael gently held Kai and drifted off to sleep.

 

Kai didn't go straight to sleep, she stayed awake for awhile.

 

Michael woke up a little while later.

"Something wrong, dear?"

 

Shen continued to walk and panted a little due to the wound being not fully healed

 

"I was thinking about when I was falling in the darkness, I kept thinking about you....."

 

"You had me worried. I was afraid I had lost you."
