Michael examined the cloth.

"This cloth is definately keldon in origin. It looks like part of a priestesses robe."

 

"You're definately keldon, Riku. But it's hard to tell if you're full blood or half blood."

 

"I would have to say he's half blood, as he has no wings."

 

"You're a half blood and don't you have wings?"

 

"He most likely took after his human parent, meaning that his father was human and his mother was keldon. He wouldn't have been wrapped in that cloth otherwise as humans are forbidden to hold a position in the temple."

 

"How did he get to Destiny Islands?"

"His mother wrapped him in the cloth and sent him to that world."

 

"They must have obtained a ship somehow."

 

"Merlin, think you can find out who Riku's real parents are and what happened to them?"


Riku simply left the house and walked to the castle gates.

 

"It won't be easy, but I can try."

 

"Poor Riku, this whole thing must be hard for him." Kairi sighed. Kyo placed a hand on her shoulder, "Yeah, but he must take in the fact."

 

"Things could have been a lot worse for him."

 

Riku sat on top of one of the castle gates, staring at the sky. Kai followed him and looked at him. She lent against the gates and the two began to sing a medoly together.

 

Michael helped Merlin with his research.

 

Kairi ran to the castle gates and listened to the medoly that Kai and Riku sang together.

 

Merlin figured out who Riku's parents were.

"I'll go get him."

 

Riku jumped down from the gate and watched back to the town, Kairi and Kai followed him.

 

Michael flew up to them.

"We found out who your parents are, Riku."

 

"Wonderful! Who are they?" Kairi smiled at Riku, he asked, "Please, tell us."

 

"Your mother is the assistant high priestess. Your father is an innkeeper."

 

"Oh, yes, I remember now! She assissted the high priestess who chose me. I forgot her name though." Kai looked toward Riku. "I heard she was a wonderful person."
