Michael turned away and looked out the window.

"Just go. Go to your family."

 

Riku entered his room and sighed.

 

Shen simply turned away and walked towards where Kai was. He knocked on the door

 

Michael felt like he was on the verge of tears.

 

"It wasn't your fault, Micheal. You just weren't quick enough." Riku thought of his time in the darkness.


Kai opened the door and she sighed.

 

"hey um Kai there is something important I want to talk to you about" Shen said

 

"It is my fault. I had all the time in the world to tell her, and I couldn't because I was scared. Then I tried to kill myself because of that fact."

 

Riku looked at him. "No better when I was in the darkness."

What is that?"

 

"tell me Kai. Have you ever felt a strong connection between us" Shen said

 

"Yes. I have."

 

"well the reason is because I am the father of Lenne" Shen said

 

Michael sighed.

"You don't understand what I went through in my life. Everyone saw me as some sort of demon. Kai was the only one that ever showed me kindness."

 

"Oh........."

Riku sighed at him.

 

Shen simply turned away "you probably have more feelings for Micheal than you do for me" Shen said closing his eyes

 

Michael just stared out the window as tears fell from his face.

 

Riku sighed and left.

Kai sighed. "Possibly, I'm married and we can't be together."

 

"then its time for us to have a divorce" Shen said still not facing her

 

Michael laid down on his bed as he tried to stop crying.

 

Kai was silent and ran to the garden.

 

Michael sat up and looked at his reflection.

"You're pathetic, Michael." He said to the mirror.
