Arisa sighed and smiled, Riku headed to the castle to perform the memorial. Aerith waited for him, so she could perform a sending.

 

Cyrus stood next to her.

 

Riku nodded and started the ceremony, and Aerith began to dance, waving her staff in high swipes and low arcs.

 

Lucrecia continued to watch her children play.

 

Jecht watched the sending as Aerith continued to perform it.

 

Lucrecia watched the ceremony from her balcony.

The children must never know what happened to their father. At least not until they're of age.

 

Aerith continued to perform the sending, wishing she would never do it again.

 

I hope you never have to go through this, sis. You deserve to be happy.

 

Aerith finished the sending and turned around. Hikari walked up to her and hugged her.

Jecht sighed. 'I wonder how did Tidus feel when I left him?'

 

Lucrecia turned back to the children as they continued to play.

 

Seth ran up to his mother and looked at her "when is dada comming back I still have to show him my new sword" Seth said

 

Hikari and Aerith walked to Micheal. "Aerith, even with your voice gone, we want to talk with you."

Aerith nodded shyly.

 

"I don't know when he'll be back, dear."

"What were we going to talk to her about?"

 

Seth became sad "I miss dada" Seth said

 

"I miss him too, Seth. We'll see him again one day, though."

 

"She's a summoner, and what's there to talk about?" Arisa walked up and bowed. She took Aerith's hand and led back to Hattori and Cyrus. Hikari sighed. "I wanted to talk about Arisa's new armor."
