"I don't know. I guess I'll say he disappeared."

 

Shen looked at the babies "it will be rough for you to take care of them by yourself. You think you will manage" Shen said

 

"I'll have to manage somehow."

 

"I'll go get your dad .You need some support" Shen said

 

"Alright." Lucrecia said before sitting on the bed.

 

Shen walked out of the room and then up to Micheal's room and knocked on the door

 

Michael put on a robe and opened the door.

"What is it, Shen?"

 

Shen looked down and closed his eyes "your daughter Lucrecia needs you right now" Shen said

 

Michael just nodded and headed to Lucrecia's room. He stared in shock when he saw the blood on the floor.

"What happened here, Lucrecia? Are you alright?"

"Ryo was murdered by one of Versago's assassins. He sacrificed himself to keep the children safe."

Michael sat next to Lucrecia and she began to cry on his shoulder. He gently hugged her.

"I'm so sorry, Lucrecia."

 

Shen watched then as he leaned against a wall

 

After a while, Lucrecia finally stopped crying.

"Thanks for coming, dad."

"What kind of a father would I be if I didn't comfort my daughter in her time of need? I know it will be tough raising your children on your own, but your mother and I will always be here to help you."

Lucrecia just nodded.

 

"you have lots of help so don't hesitate to ask" Shen said

 

Aerith pushed him to her room and closed the door. A single tear fell from her eyes. She wiped it away and walked out to the balcony, she saw Arisa on one of the rooftops.

 

Lucrecia nodded and weakly smiled.

"I better get some sleep. I can't take care of my children if I'm exhausted from lack of sleep."

"What's wrong, Aerith?"

 

Shen nodded "good night" Shen said as he walked out

 

Michael followed him out and clenched his fist.

"Versago will pay for this."

 

Arisa flew over to the balcony and gently wrapped her arms around Aerith. "Aerith, Ryo has been killed. By Versago's assassin." Aerith started to cry.

 

"That's terrible. I feel bad for Lucrecia."

Lucrecia laid back and sighed sadly.

"You're really bummed about this, princess."

"Shut up. What would you know about my feelings? I thought you only cared about killing."

"On the contrary. I feel everything you do. I am a part of you, after all."

 

Aerith held onto Arisa and mouthed, 'No....... I was so happy for her......'


Hikari waited into their bedroom, "Please, be safe, Micheal......'

 

Michael returned to his bedroom and stared at Hikari.
