Shen nodded "yea" Shen said and looked at his own stone and sighed " I can't believe I almost let the darkness take over me" Shen said

 

"You don't want to know what it's like having something dark and demonic in you."

 

Shen sighed again and put his hand in his pockets but then pulled out a pendant "huh whats this?" Shen said as he examined the pendant

 

"That's a pendant given to keldon when they become knights. From the looks of it, you were the leader of the winged vanguard, an elite group of knights assigned to guard the castle."

 

"So i guess I really am a knight" Shen said as he looked at it

 

"A really skilled one at that. Only the best were allowed into the winged vanguard."

 

"and yet I failed in protecting my own family" Shen said

 

"You can only say that if they are dead. As long as your family still lives, then you kept your promise to them."

 

Shen nodded "yea you right all I have to do is hope they are alive but as for now I have a duty I must continue with" Shen said

 

Michael nodded.

"I think I'm gonna head back to bed. We can see if Merlin found anymore information for us tomorrow."

 

"ill stay out her for a bit" Shen said looking up at the sky

 

Michael headed back to his house and laid down.

 

Kai walked out a bit carrying Lenne in her arms.

 

Michael couldn't fall asleep, so he went back to playing his flute.

 

Shen heard the sound of the flute and then started whistling the same tune as if he actually heard it before

 

Kai heard the flute and smiled.

 

Michael flew up on the roof and continued playing.

 

Shen continued to whistle the tune that was being played

 

Michael gazed up at the stars as he played.

 

Kai sang along the medoly.
