"Have you always been such a jerk, Jecht?"

 

Shen droped his sword and fell down to the ground

 

"He was a big star on our world, til he disappeared one day. He came to me and became my guardian." Braska explained, Mione walked with him. Jecht sighed, "My son was a major crybaby and I left to get away from it."

 

"So you're a bad father too? Bet your son really hates your guts."

 

Heartless began to surround Shen as he layed there "guess this is it for me" Shen said

 

"It's been more than ten years since I saw him......" Jecht sighed, Braska smiled. Aerith turned to her sister, "What do you mean, 'too'?"

 

"I'm just saying that he's a jerk and a bad father."

 

Just then there was an extreamly huge explosion where Shen was

 

"Shen!" Aerith was about to run to where he was, but Braska stopped her.

 

"We have to keep going, sis!"

 

Aerith looked unsure, Braska summoned four creatures. "You two can ride Valefor. I'll take Bahamut."

"I call Ifrit."

"Then I got Ixion!" Jecht mounted a horse with a unusual horn, Mione got on a dark red beast with two horns, and Braska mounted another creature. Aerith approached the bird and mounted.

 

Lucrecia got on behind Aerith.

 

Braska nodded, and all the creatures took off. Aerith held onto the feathers, thinking of Shen and her mother.

 

"I wonder if mom and dad noticed we were gone."

 

"They must have. Mother is probably crying and Father is very mad."

 

"We'll be home soon."

 

Versago was in his room "damn it they escaped" Versago said but then turned to the emperor who was with him "so are you going to commence your attack?" Versago said and the emperor simply nodded "those fools shall die" the emperor said as he retured to his own world

 

"We'll probably find a airship or something to get us to your world."

"Can you even drive a airship, Jecht?"

"Of course!"

"We're doomed."

Aerith looked at the others and smiled.

 

Lucrecia just looked confused.

 

"Last time you tried to drive something, you nearly sank the whole crew and us!"

"Something was in my eyes."
