Kyo laid in his wolf not far from them.

 

Kiryl played with his sisters in the park.

 

Lani and Mayra smiled as they played with their brother, Kyo watched.

 

Kiryl glared at one of the children that was mocking his sisters.

 

Kyo walked up and barked them away. Lani stared at the wolf that appeared.

 

"Hey uncle Kyo."

 

Kyo changed to human and smiled at them. "Uncle Kyo!" He hugged Lani and smiled. "How's everyone doing?"

"Great!"

 

"We just wanted to get some fresh air."

 

Lani held Kyo's hand, a little nervous. "Just like Aerith....."

 

"What was that about grandma?"

 

"She was quite the shy one of the twins, unlike Lucrecia. I wonder how it is in the godly world."

 

"She's probably enjoying it there with grandpa."

 

"Yes. As well as Hikari and Micheal. I miss them greatly."

 

"What were great grandma and great grandpa like?"

 

"They were great rulers as well as wonderful people who deeply cared for each other. Despite Hikari's being the daughter of the former goddess Melodria, that didn't change Micheal's love for her."

 

"How did they meet?"

 

"When they were very young. Hikari protected Micheal from the people harnessing him just because he was half-blood."

 

"Kind of like us in a way. They hated him because he was different."

 

"Yes, but that didn't Hikari becoming his friend and later his wife and queen."
