Kingdom Hearts and the Legend of Dragoon continued

"so why doesn't your mom or sister wear any shoes. The rock and twigs don't look comfortable" rin asked

 

"They're used to walking around barefoot. They love to feel the ground beneath their feet. Me and my dad have always worn boots." Haku said before he looked at her.

"So what made you run into the forest? Surely you were comfortable in your mansion."

 

"yeah I was but my parent were murdered and I ran in here to hide. I managed to kill the murderers but got lost" Rin said looking down at her dress. It seemed really expensive

 

"You managed to kill the people who murdered your parents? You're a lot tougher than you look. I can have my mom wash that dress for you if you want."

 

"uh sure thank you" rin said

 

"Did anyone ever tell you that you look pretty cute?"

 

"yup a lot of people did" Rin said

 

"They all underrated your beauty. You're the most beautiful girl I've seen."

 

"nice try but you will have to try harder. Many people have told me this" Rin said

 

"Most everyone that told you that was blinded by your money. My view of you is unbiased as I have no interest in your money."

 

"well I'm not the kind of girl who will fall in love easily. Your going to have to work real hard" rin said

 

Haku stretched, showing that he only had one working arm.

"If you want to fall in love with me, you will. I'm not going to try and force it."

 

Rin noticed his arm but didn't say anything and then looked at her dress and sighed

 

"Come on, let's get that dress washed." Haku said as he walked back to the grove. A bandit came out from behind a tree and put a knife to Rin's throat.

"Give me all your money, girl."

 

Rin suddenly elbowed the bandit in the gut and grabed knife away

 

The bandit laughed and drew another knife. Before he could strike, Haku ran his sword through the man's chest.

"Damn bandits."

 

"thanks" Rin said

Ken walked up to them "hey shouldn't you kids head home" Ken said

 

"We were on our way there, but another one of those bandits tried to attack Rin. There seems to be more of them as of late."

 

Ken seemed annoyed " just shut up and go" Ken said

 

Haku took Rin back to the grove. He had grabbed her hand, but didn't realize it.
