"Of course not, I was just worried about you" He told her smirking.
"So what do you suggest we do out in the rain?" He asked her curiously.

 

"A little water won't hurt me..." she said and smiled. Then she looked around. "Well... we could race..." she said, smirking.

 

"A race,eh? Well how about from here to that tree?" He asked her as he pointed to a tree far off in the ditance.

 

Abexecca put her hands on her hips and looked at the tree. "Alright..." she said and grinned. "How about there and back?" she asked.

 

*Fayte glanced at the tree and sighed*
"OKay. Say go when your ready" He told her as he got in a starting position.

 

Abexecca stood in a ready position. "Ready... set... GO!" she shouted and took off, running as fast as she could. She felt the cold drops of rain fall onto her skin and a grin spread across her face. I can't even remember the last time I did this... she thought.

 

*Even from the beggining Fayte was going to let her win but suddenly he found himself having trouble keeping up with her*
"This should be fun" He thought to himself smirking as he quickly touched the tree and turned around running back to the start/

 

As Abexecca tagged the tree and started running back, she found herself getting oddly tired. She panted as she tried to keep up the same speed. I'm not gonna give in now... she thought and smirked.

 

*Fayte started breathing heavily as he closed unto the end*
"Almost there" He thought to himself as he ran right beside her.

Abexecca saw that he was catching up and she sped up as much as she could, crossing the finish point as she tumbled to the ground. She laid there with her arms spread wide and she stared up at the sky, breathing heavily. "So... did I win...?" She asked between breaths. She hadn't been able to tell. She laughed as she noticed that her clothes were now soken wet.

*Fayte collapsed to the ground right after her*
"Yeah I think so..." He told her tiredley as he thankfully let the water from the sky fall down upon him.

 

Yumiko lay on her stomach quietly under a tree outside. She hadn't been able to rest yesterday. Strangly, it had nothing to do with Kite. She hadn't been able to sleep in days. A lot of the time she was thinking about the past but that wasn't all. She felt as if she was fighting a battle- with herself.
She crossed her fingers under her chin and looked down at the dark notebook infront of her. It was the notebook she had kept all her notes in from yesterday. Reluctantly, she opened the book and pulled a pen from behind her ear. She flipped through the pages, going over her notes.

 

*Fayte rubbed the water off his face and smiled feeling the best he had in a long time*
"You left a whole where my heart should be. You got to fight just to make it through because I will be the death of you...." He sung quitely to himself as he layed back unto the ground and smiled cheerfully.

 

Yumiko turned over to lie on her back. She was annoyed. Her notes were fine, it was her that what was bothering her. She felt her body go cold and the color in her skin disappear. She held the grass beneath, pulling it from the ground. Mumbling, a couple words she closed her eyes and placed her hands on her stomach.
"Maybe if I had turned back, I wouldn't be hurting right now," She thought vaguely. "Where is the future so ambiguous?"
