Kingdom Hearts 2:A Real Teen Life

Mira looked over the ocean. "Unlike Sora, Riku, and Kairi, I've never been off of Destiny Island... the only things I know of other worlds comes from Sora's stories. From what he's said, Miss Aerith sounds like a really nice person."

 

Yuki smiled, "Yes she is. She's an angel. So, in the years you've been here... has anything weird happened? I remember Miss Aerith telling me Sora's story. And she said that Sora told her of Destiny Islands crumbling apart or something. She told me Sora ended up in Traverse Town, where she was for a while, and Riku turned up in Hollow Bastion."

 

Mira sighed at the memory. "That happened only a few years ago. I remember how the sky just suddenly turned dark and cloudy, my parents had rushed me into a shelter thinking that it was a hurricane. By the time we got to what we thought was safe, these dark creatures just popped up out of no where right in front of us. Next thing I knew everything went dark." She shook her head slightly. "I don't remember much of what happened directly after, it's all fuzzy there... but the times that I do remember was waking up in my bed like it was nothing more than a nightmare. So I went to school like it was a normal day, believing it to be a nightmare... only to find that Sora and Riku were missing."

Yuki sighed, "Oh I see... it must have been a horrible experience. So when Riku and Sora disappeared, that's when their adventures started. Huh... Wait... how about Kairi?"

 

Mira looked at Yuki. "Kairi wasn't missing, she said something about us being with Destiny Island in darkness for a long while and when we woke up... it was because Sora had restored our world from the darkness. I guess we were in slumber while she was gone."

 

"Oh I see. I remember Miss Aerith saying about forgetting about Sora. Did that happen to you guys too?" Yuki was flushing a bit, she didn't like asking too many questions.

 

Mira nodded her head a bit. "Yeah... we did for a while." She looked over at Yuki. "Kairi seemed really out of it when the memories started piecing back together, though... it was like she was trying to remember faster than her mind would allow."

 

Yuki smiled, "Well... that's Kairi for you... she has to remember Sora, because he's special to her."

 

Mira chuckled. "You seem to know Kairi pretty well already."

 

Yuki blushed, "Well... everyone's been talking about her. And she seems to be an important person. And, when I was in Radiant Garden, I'd bump into him and I'd sometimes hear Sora talking to his two companions about Kairi, but he doesn't know I'm listening... I would always hide when he was there. Because I WAS afraid of him. He had that weird blade with him. Then I found out that it was a Keyblade." Yuki smiled, "He likes her a lot. I sometimes find myself laughing silently because all he thought of were her and Riku."

 

Mira chuckled. "I can understand that, though. The three of them have been extremely close since they were kids. There's also the fact that Sora's so loyal and faithful it makes me jealous... and that's saying something."

 

Yuki smiled, "I know what you mean... he never gives up. And I guess that's one good thing about him."

 

Mira nodded. "Riku doesn't talk much of what happened to him while he was gone, but I have a feeling he really needed someone like Sora to pull him up from time to time."

 

Yuki nodded, "I know. When I was talking to him, I kind of noticed that he didn't really like to think of the past. Maybe something bad happened that shouldn't be talked about at all."

 

Mirs sighed out. "Maybe... everyone wishes he would open up and say what happened to him... but I guess he really doesn't want to, like he's ashamed of whatever it is."

 

Yuki smiled, "Yeah... but I wouldn't want him to force it out... it might have been such a horrible thing that happened to him. I remember, when I was talking to him about my friend who went to Maleficent's castle, Riku paled. And his lips were trembling a bit. And then he looked like he was going down a trip to Memory Lane."

 

Mira turned to look at Yuki. "I was wondering what you had said to him to make him look so uneasy. That's not a very easy task, he's one of those people that try to hide their emotions as much as possible."

 

Yuki grimmed and looked down, "I guess... I kinda felt bad doing that, so I changed the topic."

 

Mira smiled as she looked back over the ocean again. "He was probably grateful for that."

 

Yuki looked at the waves, "Yeah... he looked really happy for the change of topic. I could have sworn I saw his eyes brighten when I changed the topic."
