KHV I have a question for you.

Okay so I'm thinking of attending a concert in October, but the venue is 16+ and I don't turn 16 until November. Would they let me in if I had my 20-year-old cousin with me, or would I have to bring my mother along? D:

 

well it really depends on how relaxed the security at the venue is, some people will let you in cause you're so close, others wont let you in unless its your mom, so really there is no definable answer.

 

yeah kinda depends on the security. If you are with someone else who is older it is possible that they could assume that you are the same age. It's happened to me, I went to my sister's bachelorette party and they assumed that I was also 20+ years old. -shrugs- Good luck, hope you can get in. =/ Well, if you bought a ticket they can't really say no to you because you bought it to be there. =/ and if they say that they can't let you in then it's the ticketmaster's fault for selling it you in the first place.

Can anybody really tell the difference between a 15 and 16 year old? Chances are though that security probably won't even bother with you if you go with your cousin.

It's not hard to get a fake ID, but they may not even check.

 

Thanks all. My sister still has her old permit, I'll just bring that along and hope they don't take a long look at the picture. If they do I'll just say that my acne cleared up and I cut my hair, and that the lights were kind of weird in the DMV so I look really pale.

What you should do is get a huge "16 today" badge with a balloon and make your cousin (or whoever you go with) wear party hats and then they'll just assume >)

 

Meh, I'm always being mistaken for being older than I am. It may come to that though. xD They do ask for a government ID though.

BUT, good part of the plan. My sisters = twins. One would be tagging along, the other I would be borrowing the old permit of. I look a bit like the one that's coming, so we can pull the twin card. ;D

Tbf the majority of the world doesn't even know what welsh is.

Actually none of them are Welsh, but they all attended a university in Wales and that's how + where they formed.

But it's cool. :>

Edit: actually, it's possible one is Welsh, I don't know if they got a new drummer yet since Ollie Campesinos! left.

 

I only know like two Welsh bands. Lostprophets and Los Campesinos!
