KH1: Animation Modding

the code's in his youtube description.

 

He says in the youtube description that it has not yet been PS2-ified or ported. (to NTSC/UC I assume)

Oh well, then it definitely won't work on my PS2.

To play as sephiroth do you need the sora mod and sephiroth animations.

Well i have them but it doesnt seem to work.

 

It crashes with any kind of Animations, any kind of jokers and mods, that's why.
I guess my PS2 will not support the great codes :(

before he released these codes did he ever check to see if they work on ps2 because I tryed and they all gave me BSOD why dont we start with easy hackable stuff like weapon mod all weapons max munny ect you dont have to jump right to playing as bosses

 

because those simple codes were made about 5 years ago

 

thats true you make a very valid point carey but no one knows where to get those codes I looked all over and they are not one this website and lots of people want some of those simple codes like Sora can use dream sword dream sheild and dream staff for KHFM 1 or maybe other codes like play as allies those are more stable then playing as bosses I mean I wouldnt mind playing as Tarzan

 

you can find codes such as that through google. although i cannot assure you they have been ported to whichever version of KH1 you have (since KH1 has about 5-10 versions). if you post the codes up when i have the time i will port them if no one else has.

as for allies...
playing as anyone other than sora in this game is DMA.
ps2 does not have the proper tools to fix a DMA, doing it manually is far to much work. so they will never be made till the tools are created. but those tools will more than likely not be created for a very very long time since no one has the proper knowledge to program them. the only alternative to playing as different characters always is to modify you KH1 ISO.

if anyone here is still planning on KH1 hacking to continue to the point its in the same condition as KH2 you need to stop waiting. its just not possible with this game. square used clever programming tricks for this game that made the game load/play easier. but in terms of hacking its a nightmare for a console this complex

 

oh I did not know that playing as any character in that game is DMA too bad my computer cant run the emu due to lack of RAM and I tryed google and found nothing on cheats for Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and what do you mean by 5-10 different do you mean like US EU and JP plus final mix or you mean something else and I found some codes for kingdom hearts 1 the US version but I lost that one now I have final mix and I cannot find any codes for that game

 

run the VM version, it better if you have less than 512mb of RAM
if its just running slow its because your computer lacks a powerful processor

square re-released the same versions of the game but modified the ELF to fix bugs/glitches along with slightly other errors. because they modified the ELF the codes must be ported to that version.
they did this with each region
NTSC/UC + PAL + NTSC/J x 2 = 6 versions
Final Mix + Final Mix ultimate hits + platinum version + 6 = 9 versions

those are the only versions im aware of that exist
