" I know it sounds weird, but I also make sure I help everyone get back on their feet and move foward. Really, since Val and me left our home world... We're both the closest relatives to each other, and we're not even related." Eden said.

 

"Well you need to make time for you," haven said, "Nox cares about you alot I mean He died to save you."

 

" Don't worry, I can take it, I just don't want anyone hurt. I can't let anyone get hurt on my behalf." Eden said.

 

"Eden if you don't give Nox a chace he will end up hurt on the inside," Haven said.

 

Eden bit her lip. She didn't know how to answer that.

 

"Going out with Nox isn't going to kill Val," Haven said.

 

Eden started to run away from Kars and Haven. She was soon out if Memory Skyscraper and started going in random directions.

 

Haven ran after her, "Eden stop."

 

Eden wasn't even looking where she was going, and ended up getting in an alleyway.

 

Haven tackled Eden to the ground, "Eden whats wrong."

 

" I don't know...." Eden said, struggling to get free.

 

"Then why were you running," Haven asked keeping Eden pined.

 

" I don't know....I'm scared..." Eden said, whispering the last part.

 

"Of what," Haven said queitly.

 

" Of destroying someone's happiness..." Ede whispered.

 

"How," Haven asked begining to get off of her.

 

"If I keep turning Nox down, then he'll become sad, and I can't ignore Val..." Eden said, slamming her fist onti the ground.

 

"Val doesn't need your protection as much as you think. You may not see it but if she put her mind to it she could be a good Blck mage," Haven said.
