Site News KH-Vids now running vBulletin 4.1.11

All the actual links are in black. The "Hey" part i suspect is in white, because i can only see it if i highlight it. Where the links intefere with the blue colour in the background, i have to sit remarkably close to see it clearly and i think it's giving me a headache, which is why i raised this issue :/

 

Right now any of the skins but the 5.0s are considered legacy and are not updated. Because it's such a minor change I may change it when I get a chance, but I'd recommend growing used to some of the newer/supported skins.

 

This, I'm sure, is related to the same thing as bug #8. Hover color for "Proceed" on user profiles is wrong. There's a weird white area, too. Not sure if there's also a problem on 5.0 Lite.

 

I an having some overlapping problems from the look of it. My problems going from minor to kinda big:

A random Cc appears on profile pages. (The green save movie file is my computer, not the cite)

I cant respond to a person when looking at the conversation, I have to respond on their profile page (again, ignore the save movie file)

And finally what I see as the biggest issue, I can't send PM's. The subject bar is covered up and I cant click it to add a title. Without a title, I cant send :/

Thank you for your time and effort, I use google chrome, windows XP professional, and I use the KHV4.0 final mix skin. :)

 

Pretty much all of these are caused by the problems with the navbar, which is already noted. The KHV5.0 skins have far less problems and I'd recommend switching to them until the 4.0 is fixed.

 

It might have been a vBulletin change.

 

Yeah, that wasn't me. I can see if I can re-add it because I found it useful too, but I didn't take it out.

Footer links are hard to see. They were that other, lighter blue you used for links during 4.1.3 (like in my signature). Probably the same on 5.0 Lite.

 

Adding on to the previous font in quotes problem, transparent text turns black in them.

About the font in quotes problem, what exactly is happening? I've not been noticing anything abnormal, then again I don't use a custom font.

 

Did you view the post? I gave an option to click it. Otherwise, view it in full. I will demonstrate both problems here.

... Or not. It only screws up when you push the "Quote" button? Or something similar. The font changes to something like Times New Roman.

I am not seeing the text you made transparent unless I highlight it.

For the time being, you should use the 5.0 styles, as the legacy styles are not top priority.

Just bumping this because they're still like that.

 

I'm pretty sure this is from the upgrade since it wasn't like that during 4.1.3.

Styles Affected:

1. KH-Vids 5.0 [Lite]
2. KH-Vids 5.0 [Lite] (Fluid Width)

The background of the Icon Legend text should be white, the Icon Legend text should be black, and the border should be white.



Here's the dark version for a comparison, so it should be the opposite of this.
