There are never two Kiras...more proof OR is not Kira. He doesnt know who the other Kira is, so if he were Kira, he'd assume either that one or he was a second one.

Now you hope to carry out your killings without the notice of us, the other detectives, who you think will start investigating everyone else more now. I don't think Kira's on right now...and if Kira is new, then he/she might not remember the rule about one kill per day...

That rule is based on first names i believe. There were a number of rounds that multiple people were killed in the same hour.
