KH: High Times At Twilight High

Pushing back the chair slickly, he grabbed his own and sat close to her as possible, staring into her eyes. He didn't know what he was thinking, as he's never been rule breaking before, neither of the Preps have, except for special occasions. But, he had made his plans, and breathing calmly, he commented, "Well....I know this is more of a rebellious act for well...the other, yet....I want you to sneak out with me after the dance."

He then waited, eyeing her expectantly, wanting to see her answer before saying anything else.

 

She loked back into his eyes, hearing him say this. "yes, I will Riku.. But....why? why do we sneak out?" she asks curiously. She still really wanted to know. She looked around before he could answer, just in case anyone would have heard then looked back at him the same way.

 

Riku grinned, a slight mischieviousness running into him that would only fit for Sora, and he shook his head, smirking at her amusedly. "Nah, ah, ah. That's for me to know, and you to find out. Is a surprise, and I want to keep it one. Though I have a tactic made out. Since your dorm is at the first floor of the building, I'll sneak out, do the more hard stuff, and go outside. From there, I will find your window..." He then eyed her knowingly. "Don't worry which window, I took care of that too."

 

She giggled a bit, "You take care of alot of things, huh? Also you kinda lost me there....what do i do?" she asks, feeling dumb. It's either she hasn't heard what he said due to the music or she was just not using her commmon sense to know what she was going to do.

 

"You don't do anything but wait for your Prince Charming," Riku answered smoothly, placing his palm on the table, while his other hand pulled back a loose strand in the back of Sharix's ear, glad that she agreed. That's all she had to say, that she will go with him to sneak, and the rest is taken care of. "Though don't change, stay in your dress, alright? Just go to your room, and do something to waste time while I get there for you..."

 

She smiled at him again. "and yes. I will then, I'll be waiting for you my prince." she says. "well...with that settled, what do we do now?" she asks him. holding his hand on the table.

 

"I just want to talk..." Riku responded, clasping the hand she put on top of his tight, gazing at her a bit seriously. "I've noticed that I don't know much about you as I would like to, and I want to. I didn't know you were a gymnast, just like I didn't know you competed. I'd like to know you're favorite color, favorite food, favorite music, favorite pastime, your ideal guy, your interests...just keep going." It was then he tilted his head, half-lidding his eyes. "And in return, I'll tell you mine."

 

Rei took in a deep breath through her nose, seeing everyone around her dancing to the fast music. "Let's go sit down for a little bit." She turned to stand at his side, nudging him lightly, but not grabbing his hand. Beginning to walk, she sighed quietly again, thinking about everything that had just happened between them. Axel didn't like her, and he did like Larxene. She was a little disappointed, because she thought that her methods were working. But she had failed in making him feel anything towards her, except caring and friendship. That wasn't what she wanted...

Remembering Larxene, she had to prevent herself from smirking with devilment. That's right... that should be soon...

 

She smiled at him. "well alright. My favorite colour is...ok well I love black and silver, I like eating sushi, um..well my favorite music, that's pretty hard. I like listening to pop and rock music. Favotie past time....ok that i'm actually not so sure of, I guess would have to be drawing and my sports. I also intrest watching movies and all. Plus, I love reading my books. Oh, and the ideal guy...well it's actiually you." she says/ "well enough of that, how 'bout you?" she asks.

Axel frowned a bit when she wasn't acting more freely with him as before, and he felt a bit disconcerted by it, as he almost blindlessly followed. Well, this was great, maybe he could have just kept his mouth shut in the first place, maybe he shouldn't just have ever kissed her, and maybe he shouldn't have asked all the questions he did, or admit anything. He sighed when he heard Summer Love by the faggy Justin Timberlake playing in the background, and thinking this can't be cold, he went and grasp her hand with his himself, holding it strongly. The action made her stop a little, and he simply made his way beside her, passing a smile on her as they went to a table. Now that he thought about, he never fully rejected her, so to speak, it was more....open-ended. "Don't start being all shy now....seriously, I don't want you to hold back..."

Riku went silent for a moment, going into thought. "Well, let's see, my favorite color would be blue, I suppose, guess silver too, since I was fond of my hair when I was little, I like to listen to rock, soft rock, punk whatever, as long as is not hard metal, and I do kind of like the hip-hop genre and R&B sometimes. Pastime, I would say playing video games, though not all the time, practicing my sparring, and just watching TV, or like you, reading a book. Anything to pass the time. My favorite food would have to be....damn that's hard, I guess Fettucine Alfredo, but I like to experiment with different foods. Love that. And my ideal girl,...she has to be sweet, understanding of me, beautiful, my equal, calm, yet not boring, and she is willing to have a little fun, and I want her name Sharix."

He smiled a bit goofily at her.

 

She giggled again noticing his smile being just a bit goofy. "so I guess we're just lucky to have foundeach other." she says giving his hand a little sqeeze. It was great to have learned something about Riku.

Rei was suprised as he took her hand, smiling at her. Don't hold back? But... Rei felt dampered, like how someone would feel if they didn't get any presents on their birthday. It was a... hollow feeling. But she began walking with him, taking her other hand and raching in front of her to hold his arm, leaning her head against it lightly. When they reached a table, she took a seat furthest from the dancefloor.

She couldn't really explain it, but she felt like her attraction towards Axel wasn't as strong after that. Like she knew she was playing a losing game. But it didn't make sense. He didn't like her, but didn't want her to stop flirting?

OOC: I actually got that feeling when I had liked this guy for months, asked him to homecoming, and he said no. It just kinda ended abruptly like that O.o

Axel just followed her lead, and sat down, pulling up a chair, and somehow having another sense of deja vu. Yet now, he didn't think the conversation will be just as warm hearted from the last time. He eyed Olette guiding a flustered Roxas to dance, and smirked, shaking his head a little. He needed to have a talk with him, about how to satisfy your girl, not that he was doing a good job himself at the moment, but he was. The table was quiet for awhile, a uncomfortable silence, at least for him, none saying anything while she was in thought...from her expression a confused thought. It was then he remembered that she must be lost, considering he just told her he didn't feel the same way, or it doesn't run that deep, and that she just tried not to invade personal space...when he didn't even say he didn't want her to. Looking up, he merely mumbled to her, "If you're confused...I just didn't want you to think that just because of what I said, you have to hold back, you get me? I truly don't mind your actions..."

He eyed honestly for a moment, before thinking of a way to release this tension dragging into his back with something random, "You know I love alcohol like a fat chick loves cake?"

Riku hesitated for a little, before also saying, "Not only that...I'm a only child, live with my mom and dad, and I didn't come from Twilight Town originally. I came from Destiny Islands, a bit far, but no too far, with Sora and Kairi. The thing was Sora's parents wanted to move there, and after he left, me and Kairi went crazy to beg our parents to go there too, and since they understood our closeness, it was done. Of course, I think that was around the fourth grade..." He then chuckled a bit there. "Kairi was always crazy for Sora, or the two of them really, even back then. I admit I was sometimes jealous....and I was, before you. I just wanted someone to call my own, as I told you before...."

"Alright then!" Olette exclaimed, throwing the cup near a trash can as she grabbed hold of Roxas' hand, leading him to the dance floor, in a more cheerful state. "The night is almost over, and I want to dance enough with you."
