KH: High Times At Twilight High

Rei frowned, resting her head further into him, their bodies as close as they could possibly be. She sighed again, her eyes still closed. Hearing his compliment made her smile weakly, yet it still wasn't enough to lift her mood. 'Seeing' his aura through closed eyes, she opened them slightly to make out the colors. Suprisingly, she saw a hint of pink...

She wasn't sure if that ment a liking for her, or if he was thinking of Larxene. But he sounded so serious, like she was the center of his thoughts. So that meant, he did like her? But why would he say that he didn't? Unless it was a physical attration...

 

Axel sighed, wondering what he had gotten himself into. But at least he understood a little, and could differentiate...he had mulled over carefully, and there was no denial from his heart or mind that he placed his emotions correctly for the two girls. He had held and kissed them both, and it was different, but with Larxene...what were they, once again? And...he even wasn't sure how far her feelings for him went, though it was worth it, he knew, even if just a while, and he offered her not only him, but his friendship. And talking about that...he couldn't help but think he was leading Rei on all this time, though now it was blatant why he didn't mind touching her, the way she danced with him, getting into the kiss...it made sense.

He heard the song end, distantly, but remained in his spot on her shoulder anyway, not exactly ready at the moment. It was then he smelled the very scent of creamy vanilla, filling his nostrils full blast now...and he was a bit surprised he didn't notice it before. Before he could even stop himself, though he knew that was to relieve the tension, he husked, "You smell good and delicious..."

 

Rei smiled, hearing Axel as he inhaled her scent. Chuckling quietly, she took in a deep breath. "You like it? I've only used this scent on special occasions." Hearing the song end, she ignored the slightly faster song and continued to stand in their current position. She wasn't ready to move yet, and he obviously wasn't either. But his aura still confused her...

Rei turned her head slightly, her face in his hair. "Your... aura looks a little pink... are you in love, Axel?"

"No...''Cloud siad in a serious tone,then he smiled at Tifa"..Im kidding...of course I will..''he said,he looked up at the ceiling and yawned

"Yeah, I like it..." Axel replied, a bit muffled due to his mouth in her shoulder blade, and he felt a bit happier to hear a laugh out of Rei. He guessed it was a stimulant to relax his own thoughts and emotions, but he had to open his eyes at Rei's question. Tensing, he moved his head softly, so that his chin was now resting on the same place his mouth just was, taking in what she had said. Axel wasn't aware that he had been executing pink aura, and he scrunched his eyebrows. Was he in love? He had feelings for Larxene kind of, but it was too fast and early to call it something as deep and important as love, and Rei was already placed in where she stood with him, but it wasn't like he could tell her his attraction either. Calm, instead, he just simply answered the question asked, shaking his head, "No, that's a bit too far for me..."

Feeling Cloud yawn, she also found herself yawning as if contagious, and it was then Tifa wondered how long has it been into this dance, though it was probably long, it ended at 12. The slow song had finished, and with that, she slowly raised her head up, staring at Cloud, a bit confused on his show of sleepiness. "Are you tired? We can rest now if you feel like it, I don't mind...speaking of that, what time is it?"

 

"Heh...Anytime..''Tidus said

Cloud looked over at the clock just above the punch table"...11:30...want to go early?''Cloud asked Tifa

OOC:things are getting good..and juicy...

 

......I appreciate it.....you're very generous to have the patience to actually dance with me.....

 

OOC: I can stay later with parental permission, because I have no school tomorrow :D But not for a good reason, they have to disinfect the school because we had a MRSA case at school >.> So that sucks.

Rei hummed in response, hearing the uncertainty in his voice. "Well, you like someone, then. It shows." Rei still had her face in his soft hair, and she closed her eyes peacefully.

OOC: Yay! But nooo. Is weird when you get both good and bad news...

Juicy? Not really, if they are it isn't going ot be graphic, make-out and stuff but once they reached that point, the next scene will have them done, and in each other's arms or whatever.

"No, I rather stay until the end, might as well...." Tifa replied, not sayign on the reason why. She wanted to see Rei's plan on Larxene, not that she was fond of it, but it was something not to miss. And speaking of her...where were her and Axel? How were they doing so far? Did Rei get any farther? She couldn't wait to see th story she had to tell, and looking at Cloud once again, she said, "Why don't you join me as I get to try Axel's punch? I haven't tasted it yet..."

Axel breathed deeply, hearing the comment that she made, and thought over it, half-way to tell her the truth. It wasn't like she didn't know anyway, she had seen it, though he didn't know how much exactly. And since he was already getting things out in the open this way, he might as well say, that he indeed, likes someone, as well as other things he had found out so far in this eventful dance, and he replied quietly, "I guess I do...and I think you're very aware on who. And....I do feel attraction for you, but is nothing...dee..." He once again, trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence. There. He had said it. Not only that, but outright hinted that he knew of what she had done, and how Cloud and Tifa both know. Sighing, he lifted his head up lazily from her shoulder, breaking off the comfortable contact, and all he had left on her was his arms. "That's why I had said I'm sorry, and I say it again..."

 

"..You go ahead...I'd rather not drink right now..''Cloud mumbled as he let go of Tifa and sat down at a nearby table

Tidus laughed"..Anytime...''he said again as he held Angel close

 

Rei smiled weakly, looking up into his deep green eyes. And that's just what he was going to say, that his feelings for her weren't deep. She sighed, her arms still around his neck. This she noticed, and she moved them back to his sides. Knowing that he had hinted that he knew that she and Tifa had known all along, she nodded. "Yeah, I know. And I'm sorry too, I should've minded my own business." Hearing the fast song continue to play, she shrugged her shoulders. "Ready to go back and sit for a while?"

 

"You sure?" Tifa questioned gently, coming over to him, and peering at his eyes with a small smirk, her hands supporting her body from the surface of the table. "I would think you would ant some alcohol, but if you say so..." She stood right up after that, and with a stare, she began to walk off to the punch table.

Axel just closed his eyes for a few seconds, a bit saddened at the look in her face. But that was the truth...so far, and is best she knew. His feelings for Larxene weren't that deep either, he had to admit, since just know he was acknowledging them, and he said to her that maybe is something more, which he knew now it was. But the best thing to do was not to lead Rei on any longer, until he got his priorities straightened out. For now, he was aware of alot of things, his mind was vacant of what he was troubled about before, and his conscious was clear of what he had been keeping to himself.

Hearing her, he simple planted a soft kiss on her forehead, making sure it lasted long and to tell her how much he cared for her, before pulling away. Placing his forehead against hers, he also smiled weakly, though he felt like crap at the moment. "I told you before...is what you want tonight."

 

OCC: hiya, um..what's been happening so far. I'd usually read it nowdays but I'm in my cousin's house.

 

OOC: Well, since you're here now, nothing much except that Axel and Rei are getting things in the open (Axel's feelings on the whole thing, now know he's attracted to her, but it doesn't run that deep, and how Axel also know she spied on the roof, etc.) He kind of gave Rei a semi-rejection >.>, don't know what else to call it.

Riku smiled, knowing very well her feelings for him, and he was glad...glad and happy that he had someone to call his own. Sighing serenly, he looked at his wristwatch, noticing that there was a half-hour left to the dance, and he guessed there was not time for breakdancing. "Sorry to disappoint, but maybe we won't breakdance, is only a half-hour before it finishes." However, he smirked at her. "You can still see it, though, this isn't the last dance after all."

 

OCC: okie thanks ^^

Sharix smiled at him. "oh well. I'm glad this won't be the last dance." she says. She looked around. "so...half an hour, huh? Whatcha want to do for the last few mins?" she asks shortcutting the word, she just wanted to and got quite used to it. She tilted her head slightly, such as in a question-like positioning. "well?"

 

OOC: Well, if you got nothing to do, you could always read it over quickly xP.

"The question is, what do you want to do," Riku returned, glancing at her from the side, a small smile on his face. He wanted her to have a good time, he didn't matter so much, he'll take whatever. "Choose, you're the lady here. We could just talk when sitting on a table, or keep dancing..."

He actually thought talking would be good, since he was keeping a surprise for her, if she was willing to risk it, and that he liked to know more, since Riku never even knew she was a gymnast.

 

She looked up at him. "hm..." she said thinking glancing around. " Well...if it's ok with you. We could just sit on the table and talk ya know." she said. She looked at the tables around the dance, she spoted a free table. It was nearest to the dance floors. "how 'bout over there." she says pointing to a table.

 

Riku nodded, and clasping his hand with hers again, took the liberty of leading her to it. It wasn't long before they reached it, and thinking of what he had to say, made him a bit anxious since he already made reservations, and she might disagree. It was a plan he had been wanting to do, but promised he wouldn't think about it until the end of the dance came near, which is now. Pulling out a chair for her to sit politely, he admitted, "I was actually going to...tell you something, which is kind of breaking the rules but..."

 

She sat down. " hm? tell me something? breaking the rules? Riku......?" she says. She grew curious about what he was going to say. She looked at him waiting. And what's this with breaking the rules? she thought. She really wanted to know now, though it quite worried her too. Wasn't breaking the rules quite for skaters and rebels? Well she wouldn't blame him. People don't have to always follow the rules.
