KH: High Times At Twilight High

She wrapped her arms around him. "alright, I wouldn't dance to this either anyways." Sharix said. What if he had noticed that i was staring at Axel-oh what a nut head I would be!she thought.

 

Riku got out of the embrace after a little while of her respond, but left one arm still tight around her hips, using that as to guide her through the now empty crowd, due to the song. He secretly eyed where she was looking at before, and was confused as he saw all and some girl there that he didn't know. He almost confused her as Tifa. Why would Sharix be concerned for Skaters?

When they were heading to the punch table, were a few people were there by now, some of their faces a bit scrunched in question as they tasted the juice, yet some of the with devilish grins as they got more, he asked quietly, "Why were you staring at Axel? Not that I don't trust you or anything, I'm just wondering..."

 

She stopped for a while, bitting her lower lip. SheRiku noticed her- she must have had a scowl on her face seeing Axel with his expression. "I'm sorry. It was just I hate seeing people like that when I'm having a blast. I don't find it any fair at all." she says. She knew he had trust her- but she really should just mind her own bussiness.

 

"No, no, no..." Riku corrected, not wanting her to get upset as they got into the small line for the punch. It was only a simple question, he just wanted to know why she had that look on her face when seeing him, though Riku didn't see anything wrong. Then again, he didn't really look closely. Not that he cared about Axel, they lef tin the wrong foot, and he can go to hell, but he was curious for Sharix. "Seeing people like what? How was Axel looking?"

"Alright! Someone spiked the punch! That's what's up!"

Riku blinked as a one of his peers went pass him with his friend holding two cups of the said liquid on full brim, and stared. Wait...somebody did?

 

"well it's just that he seemed....like he had a bad time or something." she said. "so let's just for-" she said unable to finish her sentence cause of the announcement, well let's call it an 'announment' then. "aw...spiked? who'd do that?" she says.

OCC: I'm at my BFF's house right now, and I have to go-sry, I might be back in a few hours ^^

Riku shrugged, shaking as they finally were going to get their drinks after the person in front of them left. "I don't know...it usually happens." He eyed her, as if to question her tenderly. He didn't mind drinking, in fact, he was hoping somebody would spike the punch, whoever it was, but he didn't know if Sharix liked it. "Do you drink alcohol or no?"

 

OOC: Haha, Rei still is thinking about the whole Larxene thing, and the scheme, that's at the end of the dance, actually the last song :D

Rei had a serious look on her face, which had quickly been reverted from a happy one. She breathed in and out through her nose, processing everything he said. His aura spelled out the parts that he couldn't put into words, but she understood enough. The one thing she didn't know yet was if he liked her back in any way. He had already proven that he cared about her, but that was as far as they had gotten, friendship. But it was better than nothing, right? She could still try, it wasn't like he was going to make a decision on the fly. Thinking it over, she nodded, meeting a decision herself. "I understand, Axel." She smiled wryly at him. Taking her hands off his shoulders, she looped her arm around his, turning to the side. "Then how about some of that Tropical Brew?"

 

Axel smiled back half-heartedly, for some reason the answer not quelling him as it should've. He just let her looped her arm with his quietly and listlessly, his mood slightly dampening. Perhpas it really wasn't a good idea to kiss her, that was kind of rash even with wanting to give her something in return, because he knew very well how it was like to be in her position. Though, now he had Larxene...not have her precisely, she was with Marluxia...but what were they excactly? Friends with benefits? Not really, went a litte bit more deeper than that, with benefits there's no strings attached, which wasn't happening. Lovers was more a definition. And then there was Rei...who he had yet to think over.

Sighing to himself, hearing her comment, he softly lead her to the table where the punch was placed, passing a few people that had gotten taste, saying how it had alcohol. Smiling weakly to himself, he replied, "Tropic Brew....I feel so much like saying it was me, but that will be careless in case someone snitches. Don't get too drunk now, by the way...."

 

Taking the ladle and getting a cup of punch, she took a sip right away, tasting the flavor. The alcohol was completely obvious, and it was stronger then she expected, but it was tasty. "Hmm, what's in it, Axel?" she whispered. "Tastes like Vodka, but there's something else in it too." Taking another sip, she took in another breath. She began to walk over to a table, her arm still around Axel's as she led him on. Sitting in a chair, she waited for him to follow suit.

 

She passed by them again and saw Rei drinking.

.......what....the....f*ck?.......you guys aren't even the age!

She seriously wanted to yell........but she realized people would give her weird looks......and then she realized that EVERYONE was drinking.

......what the h*ll?.....

"alchohol..." she repeats, sounding quite unsure"well....I don't usually drink only in special occasions- and if they tell me too. Though today would be ok I guess." she says.

 

OOC: Like teenagers follow the drinking age anyway *-*. I do wonder where Axel gets the alcohol though...xP. Kidding, I know.

He chuckled when she tried it, finding it good evidently, and all the while hearing people's opinions around them. He was a bit impressed that she recognized it was vodka, though wasn't really unexpected. Axel just merely let her lead him anywhere she wanted mainly, though he did want to get a drink himself, even if he wasn't thristy. He watched as she sat on the chair, waiting for him, and Axel silently complied, pulling up a seat and sitting. He placed his lower arms on the table, as he replied to her quietly, looking down at the surface, "It's Smirnoff vodka, with a dash of EverClear...I only put a tiny bit, but consider greatly what I consider as 'tiny'. It's made of 95% alcohol. You should try a Jungle Juice, if you ever heard about it." It was then he wondered something, as he hasn't spotted them for awhile. "Have you seen Cloud and Tifa?"

Yet it was at that moment he heard another ong being played, and he almost laughed when he processed it. Axel glanced over at the dance floor, and as predicted, females were getting up and starting to put their flaring moves. He sighed, not really liking the Pussycat Dolls, yet he wouldn't dare deny that the video was absolute sexy as hell.

......*sigh*........honestly....if my parents knew I was hanging out with a bunch of people who drank.....they would seriously kill me and dub you guys a bad influence......and seriously......Axel what gives?.......*sigh*......I can't believe you guys.....

She was very disappointed.

I already have a little brother gone AWOL.....are my friends going to be like that too?

 

OOC: Don't worry, Rei just knows from sneaking drinks at Christmas and New Years xD And during the summer, of course, at parties. She's a responsible drinker, she just likes the flavor of drinks, not drinking to get drunk. Hah, I'm 14 and I've had wine before, but that was with my parents << haha. Also had whiskey and coffee (just what was left of it from my mom, but it was actually not that bad) at an Irish Pub.

Rei almost laughed at the song, and had to put her cup down. It reminded her of this one time ith her brother. Looking back at Axel, she smiled. "I remember, over the summer, Aaron drove me into town so I could go to a movie ith a few friends, and when he came later to pick me up, he was kinda drunk. This song came on the radio and he started singing to it, so I made him sit in the back and I drove. He was such a bad singer too, it was hilarious, if you can imagine Aaron drunk," Rei finished, Laughing between phrases. She had remembered that from when she used to go out with her friends all the time. Now, she had transferred schools, and she had a ne set of friends already, and possibly something else in the making...

Hearing Axel's question, she shruggged. Last I knew, they were over here, but they may be dancing."

She walked off back to her dorm.

OOC: I only drink a bit to try, I'm not much of a drinker either, I'm just making Axel one xP. Not that he drinks all the time, but still goes to get wasted. I think I'm stereotyping guys here xDD.

"Oh, really?" Axel laughed a little, knowing he himself had a somewhat similar experience. The Skaters had somehow gotten in a club, in breaks when they could go home...and wow, how long has it been? The memory replaying in his mind, he chuckled, glancing over at Rei, all smiles. "I remember a time when we all went to a club, we had a connection with a outsider who could get us. You haven't met the rest of the guy Skaters, but that's who I went with. Roxas was there as well, and after a bit of pushing, he got his first few drinks and everything. The kid can't hold his alcohol, and so when we were going to dance, Roxas was... dancing and singing to Don't Cha, and since Zexion got drunk as well, surprisingly...because he's the genius of our group, they were dancing together. Is not funny if you hear it, but imagine a Roxas trying to dance...like a nerd, with the booty shaking and leg uplifts. And Zexion about to faint all the while, all dizzy while try to move his hips..."

From there Axel cracked up, the image now clear as he covered a hand to his mouth to stop from being too loud. He slammed his forehead in his forearm that he had there as his body shook with mirth. It's been a while since they had a outing like that.

 

Rei had to cover her mouth as well, laughing at the mental image of Roxas and the other guy named Zexion. She held her stomach, calming down as her laughs dispersed, still smiling. She took another sip of the drink, the fruity flavor sinking in to her tastebuds. "You'll have to introduce me, I guess there's still quite a few people I have to meet."

OOC: When we were out to dinner, my mom ordered an alcoholic smoothie, and my stepdad was making fun of her for it. He kept saying stuff like "You just can't put it down, can you? You can't resist the temptations..." and she eventually got brainfreeze xD.

 

OOC: Lol xD. I surprisingly, I never got a brain freeze...or maybe I did and I wasn't aware of it xP.

"Yeah, we are a big group....basically, both the Preps and Skaters are what rule this building," Axel breathed, as he coughed a little from the laughing he had to endure, putting himself back together as he grinned. That was a time he had to make sure never to forget, and they were beginning to get scarce, sadly enough. They had to plan a outing again, one day, before they get more busy with school work, there was the beach as well, but the climate wasn't for it. He stared at Rei, his gloomy mood diminishing as he told the story of that fateful night. "It's kind of weird how it started....and many don't know how it began either...hell, I think I'm the only one. Sora and Roxas used to be friends in grammar school, but when Sora got chosen as Prep leader from the former ones, and Roxas too as a Skater, they separated, to the point of now."

He then shrugged, the party atmosphere getting to him, and he didn't want to talk about nothing serious at the moment, hence, why he hasn't brought up the fact that he knew Rei spied on him and Larxene on the roof. Hearing Buttons still, he moved his head in rhythm, clapping his hands as he moved his body, singing, "I'm telling you to loosen up my buttons baby, uh-huh, but you keep fronting, uh, saying what you gonna do to me, uh-huh, but I ain't seen nothing...uh.." He then wiggled his eyebrows jokingly at Rei. "I should be a Pussycat Doll, don't you think?
