KH: High Times At Twilight High

OOC: Lol. We're gonna play dodgeball, cause it hurts people =3. Since you weren't here, Roxas, I mean, I made a excuse that you went to nurse's office, but you came back now.

And is okay, I just didn't want you to get in trouble in case it happens again ^^.

Axel got up as the coach ordered them to, trying to see which one will be chosen as the team captain. Immediately, Axel waved both his hands in the air wildly as he asked who wanted to be their leader, being the first one too. His mind gave a victory fanfare as he looked straight at him.

"Okay, Axe, you got it! We need one more, let's see..."

He gave a cocky smirk in response, just in time to spot a wild set of spiky golden blond hair, the familiar face of Roxas appearing through the students. Axel made his presence known as he shouted out at him, motioning to come over. With his best friend now, the dynamic dodgeball duo was complete. "Roxas! Over here!"

Oh yeah, SORA!, the dance is today, but later. About team captain...I guess...Tifa?

Axel rolled his eyes, grabbing him and giving him a knuckle sandwich, as the students parted to play, hearing vaguely the teacher choosing Tifa since he thought it fair for the next to be a female, and that she was the one who looked fit and strong. He let Roxas free, slapping a hand on his back. "Nope. And you're on my team."

Tifa just smiled a little at being chosen, thinking that the first pick she was going to have is Rei on her team. Girl power to the max those two will be together, though of course, she needed to choose males as well.

 

She sat down, waitng for her name to be called.

OCC: I'll be on any.

roxas grinned "awsome.."he said

 

She looked at both team captains, wondering when would her name be called.

 

"Now, if you all please get, will the captains separate so they can choose they're teammates?"

Axel followed to where the coach pointed, dragging Roxas with him as he eyed Tifa going to the other end, smirking at the thought that he was going to go against his trusted friend. When they reached there, he let go of Roxas' arm, looking around at his peers in front, Tifa resting on the wall on the same side he was, but a bit farther. He called out to the teacher, "Yo, Roxas is on my team!"

The teacher looked over at the red-head, nodding. "Very well. Then it's Tifa's turn to choose."

"Rei," Tifa chose easily, smirking as the girl bounced up and made her way to her. She saw Axel rolled his eyes at the obvious choice, but she was curious to see how he faced his two girl friends. This was really getting her mind off Cloud, the excitement already bubbling in her stomach.

"Oh? Well, okay... then. Axel, your turn again."

Axel searched the students in front of him, thinking cautiously over who to pick. He noted Sharix was in there, but she was a Prep, even though it didn't matter since Tifa was a Skater, and she was also captain. Sharix had to be somewhere, and since she was the other one who he knew in here, he shrugged. "Sharix."

 

what?!? she said in her mind. She walks up to them not even taking a look at Axel.

 

roxas stood next to axel

 

Axel snorted as Sharix didn't even bother to eye him in the face, but he really didn't care anymore. It was then that both him and Tifa went out of their way to choose anybody else worthy, for winning, on their team, and when she picked the last one, the teacher sent the two groups on the wide oppsite end of the gym, placing a couple of balls in the middle between the gangs in a straight line, so when he he blew his whistle, a free for all of the students will hurry to grab one, and attack.

He saw the coach held up a ball though, as if going to explain something, twirling it on his forefinger like a basketball. He eyed both teams sternly as he halt the spinning to show it.

"I should tell you know, that after amuch discussion with the faculty, we can play dodgeball with a new sizzle that I'm sure you'll love. See this emblem here?" He pointed to a black star with a white "S" in it. "That's the mark. Since I know you all like it raw, you can use your powers with these balls if you were gifted with them. It is specially made to bond with your capabilities. For example, if you had the power of illusion, you can make the ball become a illusion itself. Axel!" He threw the ball at him.

Axel caught it, quite surprised at this turn of events. Did that mean he could use his fire with this? He stared at the teacher questionably, waiting for what he had to say next.

 

Sharix also turned to the teacher.

 

roxas raised a eyebrow

 

"Throw the ball into that wall over there, concentrate on focusing your fire like you will do on your weapons."

Nodding, Axel did as told, which came as very easy for him to do. It wasn't long before he gaped in utter delight as the ball set on pure fire, like a burning ball of inferno that was dangerously in his hand. If he threw it fast enough, and he had a very harsh strength, this could be all the much more fun for him. Placing his eagle at the wall, where there was a target, he send his arm back, hearing the flickering of the flames, and chucked the ball hard, watching it as it spun like fast comet, slamming into the wall as it created a crater due each second to the heat making it melt, right smack in the middle. Perfect aim, as always.

The ball kept spinning in the hole it made, wisps of smoking filling the room as it gave a loud squeaky screech, like tires on the streets. When it finally stopped, making people look in shock, the teacher stared at him with a proud smile.

 

Sharix just stood there shocked. Her mouth dropped open but she shook her head and snapped out of it.

 

roxas grinned

 

"We're not here to kill Axel, so be sure not to overdue it, make your fire cool, instead of hot, I know you can do that. We don't want to burn anybody or sent them to the hospital. And please, not that hard either." He then turned to the rest. "THAT was a nice example of what I'm talking about! Make sure to be safe for your peers, and control it! Is the number one rule or you'll be taken out! Okay, on my whistle!"

Everyone got into a stance, looking at the balls in the middle, wanting to get there first, though some were nervous by their eyes. Axel just eagle eyed everyone on the other team with a evil I'm-going-to-kick-all-of-your-a**es grin, though he had in mind what the teacher said, before he glanced at Roxas, getting ready to run on the sound of the whistle. "Make sure to give them hell, most of the nerds are in there."

Tifa just gave a shaky breath, though she was pumped now. Even though she didn't have any powers of her own, she could use most of her own strength to give a much more nail in whatever body part. She had to focus though, and be ready to evade any ball. Rei had powers though, so maybe she could do something.

It was then the whistle was blown, and in a flash, she found herself running to the ball, along with everyone else.

Sharix walked over to get the ball. She didn't feel quite 'right' being there somehow, like she didn'tget to fit in or belong there somehow. She just did it to get a grade.
