KH: High Times At Twilight High

She saw Axel hurrying down the hall.

Hey......well...you seem to be in a rush.....bye.....

She continued on(do we even have classes?)

 

OOC: Haha, Cloud needs a date...

Rei was running so fast that she almost ran into the girl she had seen the previous night. "Oh, sorry!" she yelled as the five minute bell rang. "Sh*t, I'm gonna be late!" Rei broke out into an even faster run as she made her way to first period. Man, my first class of the year and I'm gonna be late!

 

......all right.....made it......i really don't want that phone call made home.....(at our school if you are tardy an automated phone call goes home saying you've been tardy to whatever period....and if you're tardy again...it'll have another automated phone call...)

She was already in class.

 

OOC: Haha, we all almost replied at the same time :D

Rei made it to the door of her class just in time, heaving as she ran in, also recieving funny looks from the whole class. Seeing the unfamiliar faces made her shiver, but she straightened and took the seat closest to the window and farthest from the teacher's desk.

OOC: She can have sat in Axel's chair XDD

 

She looked at Reixa as she was coming in and gave her a friendly wave.

 

Rei had noticed the girl that she had almost ran over, and sent her an apologetic smile and waved back. She took out a piece of paper from her writing notebook and wrote:

I'm Rei. U?

OOC: We can have them sitting next to each other horizontally :)

Hey Angel, are you new? I transferred a couple days ago.

 

Tifa was ready to leave by the time someone knocked on the door, though she was in no mood to se anybody today. She was even going to be absent, but thinking that she had skipped to go to the pool with Axel and...Cloud, she didn't want to get her record jaded. Tifa slicked back her hair softly, and made sure her unifrom was in place. She never was like the rest who placed their own style and add things in and out to express themselves, she simply followed the code perfectly. Except for black shorts under her skirt, just in case.

Sighing, she grabbed the key from the table, and went to open the door to go to class, luckily for the one outside, because if she wasn't going to school...

Unlocking the door, she gasped at the male that was in front of her when she opened it, her body freezing as she gaped at him, and the familiar pain coming back. What was he doing here? "Cloud..."

The late bell rang to Axel's dismay, and defeated, he halted in his sprint to class, knowing it was already too late. He had to go to the office to sign in since he missed homeroom, and he didn't want to be marked absent, and that held him back. Breathing raggedly, he rested his back on the nearby wall, trying to catch his breath as he cursed in his mind. Heaving out a sigh after a while, he lifted himself back up, walking gloomily the last few steps to his class, another one he had with Roxas. Peering in the little window that was stationed in the door, he looked in, seeing it full, and turned the knob to come inside, the teacher rolling his eyes at him, as usual.

"You're late," the teacher hissed exasperated, and pointed at his chair as she corrected her roll book. She gave a sigh. "Don't know why you're not expelled. Sit down, Axel."

Axel flipped her off when she wasn't looking, getting a few laughs, before heading to his seat, that he usually shared next to Roxas. He smirked at the blond, before he noticed Rei there, since she was new...and Angel? Whoa. He hadn't seen her in a while...

 

Well well well..if it isn't Axel...

She smiled at him.

 

Cloud was wondering if this was a good idea,he hurt her so much and all he could say was sorry..despite everything he still wasnt sure if he wanted to get back in a relationship at all anymore,he looked down at Tifa"I'll talk to you later...'he mumbled,then walked off,cursing under his breath,he knew that must have made her feel worse,not being able to say sorry right to her face and holding it off until later

 

Rei laughed at Axel's gesture towards the batty teacher, whom had given her a dirty look as well when she barely made it to class. But when he halted before her, she noticed that she was in his seat. Axel? she mouthed as she quickly stood, her notebook in hand. Smiling nervously, she moved over to the seat in the corner, behind Roxas, and one away from Angel. As she sat, the teacher rose and began droning on about some dude name Walter Somethin-a whatz that liked to write about only-god-knows-what. Bored already, she leaned back against the wall while flashing a daring smile Axel's way, still remembering the kiss he had given her. Only on the cheek, but hey, it was better than nothing.

 

Tifa frowned as she watched Cloud walk away, making her confused and more disheartened than before. Feeling her eyes burning, she blinked them away, before slowly closing the door, jabbing they key in the knob as she locked it. Placing it back in the little black knapsack she carried with her, she made her down the hall, knowing she was late to class, but not really caring anymore.

Axel had smiled back at Angel as he made his way into his desk, on which Rei was sitting on. Giving her a look, he eyed her as she stood up sheepishly, and switched to another vacant one behind Roxas, while he leisurely sat down next to his best friend, taking out his iPod along the way. He didn't have time to go to his locker or anything, and not like he was going to listen to that teacher even if it killed his grades. Surprisingly, they weren't that bad. Placing the earphones, he turned it on, browsing the song list as he drowned out the monotone teachings. Making sure to hide it under his desk and be conspicuous, he chose the Speed Of Sound by Coldplay, one of his favorite groups. Axel sighed as he listen to the low key gloom that traveled in all their music, and he embraced the melody.

Mouthing the lyrics, he felt eyes on him, and turned to look behind to see Rei staring at him with a smile. He raised his brow at her, before sending her a smirk, and turning back to sit straight in his chair, his eyes up front.

 

She had on her normal "I don't care about anything" look or other wise known as the "bored" look or the "whatever" look to some people. Unlike most people she payed attention in class......she took a quick glance at Axel and saw the iPod.

*sigh*....same old Axel.....how DO you stay in school?

She looked at Axel's expression toward Rei's and Rei's expression toward Axel's.

What happened this time?


Angel?

Please answer the question, Angel..if you were paying attention.

And yet...everything bad always happens to me.

Axel swerved his head a little, still singing the song under his breath. He snickered seeing at how Angel got picked on first, he didn't need to here to know, but seeing as the teacher was picking on the students who weren't paying attention now, he decided to lower the volume on his iPod, preferably listening to her blabbering in case he was next. Roxas was already asleep with his hand supporting his head.

When does this period end?

 

I suggest that you pay more attention in class, Angel....

"Axel!"

This teacher can be so predictable. Sighing, he cautiously lowered the volume more, and made sure his earphones were covered by his hair. Why didn't she screeched Angel's name when calling on her? Teachers are suppose to be free of all prejudices, but then again, he did kind of put a worm in her lunch one day. He saw everyone turning to him to await what was to come, and he rolled his eyes. Gazing at the teacher with a fake smile, he replied, "What is it?"

The teacher smirked as she eyed him. " 'Conventionality is not morality, self-righteousness is not religion, to attack the first is not to assail the last'. If you were paying attention, because I mentioned this, can you name the English author or the book that has these lines on the preface?"

Axel widened his eyes, gaping at her as if she grew two heads. How the hell was he suppose to know this? She was probably talking about it before she rounded up on Angel, but the quote was too difficult to wrack his brain for the answer...but it was the book or author, one of the two.

After a while, and the teacher tapping her foot patiently, it was no use, and he gave up, but hated the fact that the teacher might be victorious, and will throw it in his face. Carelessly, he answered with a shrug, not giving a damn anymore and said whatever author popped in his mind, "J. R. R. Tolkien?"

 

D*mn.....that was really hard...even I didn't know the answer to that one.....*sigh*......

She was still a little upset that she got embarassed by the whole class.......and she holds deep grudges......for anybody....
