KH- Fast Food Madness!

Roxas opened the door and stepped into the office. He took a few steps forward, near the desk and flet a crunch beneath his feet. He looked down and found a pen on the floor. He picked it up and put it back on the desk before leaving the room. It was empty.

Kairi watched people bustle around out in the morning sun. They were content, happy.

 

Once they were gone, Sora sighed shakily. He leaned against the wall and shut his eyes, trying to get rid of the horrible memories that haunted him. His breath was still ragged.

 

Roxas walked toward the back exit. Maybe he went back there? He approached the door and pushed it open, looking to his right and to his left. There he was. He was against the wall.

Kairi ran a hand through her hair and got up, walking toward the bathroom.

 

Sora looked towards the people and watched them as they walked by. They had so much freedom. They were lucky. He closed his eyes again as his world began to spin.

OOC: I gotta get off soon.

 

OOC: Alright.

Roxas walked up to him. "...Sora?"

Kairi looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were puffy and red, her cheeks were stained with her tears. She turned the faucet and splashed some water on her face.

 

Sora jumped and turned his head. He saw Roxas. He hadn't heard him come out. He mentally scold himself for being so jumpy. "Roxas."

 

"Are you alright?" Roxas looked at him, concerned.

Kairi wiped her face off and fixed her hair. Her eyes were still puffy, and she looked away from the mirror.

 

"Oh...yeah, I'm fine." Sora said quietly, trying to wave off Roxas' concern.

 

"Why don't you come back inside?" Roxas looked at the people on the street. It'd be safer inside.

 

"I'll come back in a minute." Sora told him. He looked down and saw that his hands were trembling. He hid them behind his back.

 

Roxas nodded and went back inside.

Kairi came out of the bathroom and saw Roxas. "Did you find him?"

"Yeah," Roxas said with a nod. "He's out back. He'll be back in a minute."

Kairi nodded silently.

 

Sora let out a sigh of relief when Roxas went back inside. He was glad he didn't notice that Sora was sick again. That was one less thing for him to worry about. He stiffened when he felt himself shake more fiercely.

 

Roxas leaned against the counter and crossed his arms.

Kairi pulled out a chair and sat down.

 

Sora took in some quick breaths as he tried to gain control over the shaking. He groaned when everything became blurry again.

 

Kairi sighed as she looked around.

Roxas closed his eyes and lowered his head, trying to relax.

OOC: Gotta go for the night. Bye.

 

OoC: I'm back from my trip it's not that I don't want to read all the posts, but can I have a recap.

 

OOC: Sora, Kairi and Roxas are still at the McDonalds. Sora's health is declining; he's vommiting blood. Kairi and Roxas know about it. The 3 of them had a discussion about what to do about the police and they see their only option as confronting the cops. Kairi had a meltdown and Sora is behind the McDonalds, feeling sick again.

Sora felt a drop of water fall on his nose. He looked up to the sky and saw the sky flash with lightning. He flinched as a terrible flashback overtook him.

He was stapped to the hospital bed, watching Kairi right before she left. He suddenly felt himself being electrocuted again, the pain much more agonizing than any of the other times. He tried not to alarm Kairi, but he couldn't hold back everything. He heard himself let out a small groan. He looked into Kairi's eyes and saw the fear and sadness inside them.

The sound of thunder brought Sora back to reality. He jumped and looked up to the sky again, rain pouring down into his eyes. He looked down to his feet and saw that his clothes were completely soaked. He must have been standing out there for some time. Sora put a hand to his head and felt that his hair was completely flat.

The others are probably wondering where I am, Sora thought numbly as he opened the back door and stepped inside.

 

Kairi looked out the window when lightning struck and thunder roared. "I thought you said he was coming," she said, switching her gaze to Roxas.

"I did." Roxas looked up. "And he was."

 

Sora took a few steps inside, shivering from the cold. He jumped when the door slammed behind him.

 

Kairi looked up and saw Roxas turn around at the sound of the door. Sora was on his way in. He's probably soaked, she thought.
