KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi left the bathroom, the tears still streaming down her face. "Sora?" she called, her voice shaky. She just wanted him next to her.

Roxas looked up when he heard the uneasiness in Kairi's voice. He had a pain in his gut and chest when he saw her face, tear-stained cheeks and all. She was breaking down.

 

Sora was shaking at the realization that he couldn't run anymore. He felt a need to be alone. He walked out of the office and out the back exit. He leaned against the back wall and kept his head low. He didn't care if police were around; he just needed air.

 

Kairi looked around and he wasn't there. "Where is he?" she asked Roxas, trying her best to wipe the tears away.

Roxas looked around. "I don't know, Kairi..."

Kairi brought a hand to her head and covered her eyes. Her lip quivered and she felt a few tears touch her hand.

 

Sora's eyes widened when he remembered where exactly he was. Behind McDonalds. This was where he was shot. Where Kairi was almost killed. He began to hypervenolate.

 

Roxas pushed himself up from his seat and strode toward her. He looked down at her with really concerned eyes. She was shaking...but why? "Kairi..?" She didn't answer and sobbed once. He pulled her into a friendly hug in reaction.

Kairi cried into Roxas's shoulder. She was a baby; a rotten baby. She was more mature than this. Why was she crying so much? Kairi couldn't shake it and continued crying into his shoulder.

OOC: It's pretty apparent that I'm in a sad mood right now, huh. xD

 

OOC: Yeah, just a little xD. Any reason why you're sad?

Sora felt his body fall to the ground. He brabbed his knees as he continued to shake. His breathing was very spastic as he sat in a ball on the cold concrete ground.

 

OOC: Just a few things aren't going right today, that's all.

"It's okay, Kairi," Roxas said. He tried to assure her that everything was going to be all right.

"No, it's not," Kairi said shakily. "Roxas, everything's gone wrong. It's not right anymore..." She sobbed into his shoulder helplessly.

 

OOC: I know the feeling D=

Sora lift his head and looked out at the street. Nobody saw him sitting there. He was glad. The trembling continued. Sora carefully rose to his feet.

 

Roxas sighed, looking around the restaurant with his eyes. Sora was nowhere in sight. "It'll get better..."

Kairi pulled apart from him and looked up at him. "No it won't. It only continues to get worse, Roxas. What if something really bad happens next. Like death..." She shook her head. She didn't want that, she didn't want that at all.

 

Sora stumbled over to a metal trash can and picked up the lid. He began to vomit into it, the sound echoing back to his ears. He felt tears fill his eyes.

 

Roxas stared at her with concerned and sad eyes. He hated seeing Kairi like this, seeing anyone like this. And looking at her made him imagine Namine, and it broke his heart. He put a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be okay."

Kairi bit her lip as she looked down. She didn't want anything worse. She was begging for something better.

 

Sora grabbed onto the can as he continued to convulse. The tears flowed down his cheeks.

 

Roxas watched her sadly. At least she was calming down a bit. But what about Sora? How was he doing, and where was he?

Kairi tried taking in slow breaths to calm herself down, tears silently sliding down her cheeks.

 

When if finally stopped, Sora let go of the trash can and gasped for breath. He grabbed his stomach. He hated this place. He hated everything that it reminded him of. He picked up the lid and trembled as he put it back onto the trash can.

 

Roxas looked at Kairi. "Maybe you better sit down."

Kairi nodded silently and went to one of the booths. She sat down and buried her head in her arms on the table, silent sobs escaping her.

Roxas watched her silently. She was broken.

 

Sora looked over and saw a few people staring at him. He stood upright and looked over at them. A lady walked over to him.

"Are you alright?!" She asked worriedly, holding out her hands in case he suddenly fell. "Should I call an ambulence?"

"No!" Sora practically screamed at her. He calmed down. "I'm fine. Really."

 

Kairi's shoulder and breath shaked as she closed her eyes, her face buried in her arms.

Roxas looked outside that side of the restaurant. There was no sign of him. He walked over and looked out the other windows. Nothing...

 

"Are you sure?" The lady persisted. "I'm a nurse, I can help you."

Sora hesitated. A nurse. Maybe she could help him...

 

Roxas walked to the kitchen, looking around. Sora wasn't there. He walked toward Merlin's office. Maybe he was laying down...

Kairi lifted her head and wiped her eyes. She looked around, not seeing Roxas or Sora anywhere.

 

Sora shook his head. "I'm fine, really. Thanks though." He couldn't risk letting anyone know who he was or what was wrong with him. He just couldn't. He watched as the kind nurse walked away with the other people.
