KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi turned her head to look at Sora. She saw the look on his face and reached for his hand. "I know this is a big mess, but we can get through it. Right?"

Roxas nodded.

 

Sora gave her a small smile and squeezed her hand. "Right." He agreed.

 

Roxas smiled slightly. "So...any ideas?"

Kairi stared at him and shook her head. She then looked over at Sora.

 

Sora smile faded. He looked down and shook his head sadly.

 

Roxas sighed. They couldn't hide out forever. The only thing he could think of was confronting the police about everything, but he didn't know what they wanted, so he didn't know how that would go or if it would even fly with the police.

Kairi gave Sora's hand a reassuring squeeze. "We'll figure everything out." She didn't really know for sure, though. The police were after them for God knows what reason, and they barged into her house and took desperate measures. What did that all mean?

 

Sora jumped when he suddenly heard a police siren outside. He turned around in his seat and saw a police car chasing a speeding car. He sighed and turned back to the table. He was glad that it was a false alarm, but he hated that it had scared him so much.

 

Demyx grunts and snores, knocked out cold. "Mommy, read me a story." he murmurs in his sleep.

Stitch, when it was handed to him, he tore at the burger, eating everything, including the wraper and the end of one finger of Axel's glove. He burps and seems contended. "Okay, Stitch Good." He chuckles, takes his onion rings, and goes to an empty table to eat.

OOC: Stitch is eating, Demyx is once again in comatose. I gotta go.

 

Axel frowned angrilly at the alien. That was his favorite glove! He grumbled and walked to the back of the store, where he kept extras.

 

Kairi rubbed his shoulder. She hated seeing him so jumpy, but she had to be there for him. He needed support, just like everyone else.

Roxas sighed in relief.

 

Sora sighed and leaned back in his seat, letting Kairi rub his shoulder. He was so exhausted from everything that was going on. And his bad health wasn't helping either...

 

Kairi continued to rub Sora's shoulder, silence overtaking her. She didn't know what to say or do except comfort him to the best of her ability. She was useless when it came to this kind of stuff. She tried her hardest, but sometimes it wasn't enough.

Roxas looked down and held his hands together. What could they do?

 

Sora looked over at Roxas. "Do you have any ideas?" He asked the blonde teen.

 

"Confrontation's the only thing I got," Roxas said, looking up.

 

Sora nodded and looked at Roxas. He shouldn't have gotten him invovled; now he was in danger too. Maybe I should run away so I don't put them in anymore danger...Sora thought to himself.

 

Roxas studied Sora's face. He knew that look. "Whatever you're thinking, don't."

Kairi blinked, her eyes glazed over. Confrontation? Maybe it was the best way, maybe talking to them would help settle this out...

 

Sora looked into Roxas' eyes, surprised that he had been read so easily. "But what if it's a good idea?" Sora protested on his own behalf.

 

"The look on your face told me that even you would be upset if you did it," Roxas said, looking Sora straight in the eye.

 

Sora sighed and pulled his eyes away from Roxas'. He was right. But it might have been the best option they had. He would keep it a secret for now, but if they didn't come up with anything better, he might have had to run. For their sake.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on Sora. Something wasn't right.

Kairi brought her hand down from Sora's shoulder and put it in her lap. "So...you're saying that confrontation may be the best way to settle all of this?"

Roxas glanced at her. "That's what I'm thinking. Running isn't a good option."

 

Sora felt as if he had been punched in the gut after Roxas spoke. Running wasn't good, but he had a feeling that confrontation would end badly as well. It was a lose-lose situation in his mind.
