KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora lowered himself to the carpet, groaning in pain. He grabbed his stomach and curled into a ball, shaking. It felt as if he was going to pass out soon because he felt so terrible. He needed somebody nearby to help him. Somehow.

OOC: I lied; I'm back for a little while xD

 

Kairi looked up at Roxas with teary eyes. "You knew about this?" she asked when she found her voice.

Roxas bit his lip and didn't look up.

Kairi looked away. "I...I have to go talk to him." She slipped between Roxas and exited the bathroom, walking to Merlin's office.

 

Sora got up off the ground and rose to his feet. He noticed a strange looking cabinet in Merlin's office. He opened it up and saw that it was full of medicine. He grabbed one and read the description. It said it treated everything in...did it say 2 or 3 pills? Sora couldn't tell; his vision was too blurry. He opened up the bottle and swallowed two pills. He slipped the bottle back to its place and shut the cabinet. He went back to the other side of the room and sat down, leaning against one of the walls.

 

Kairi knocked on the door. No answer. She pushed it open slightly. "Sora...Sora, I'd like to talk to you."

 

Sora looked at her and nodded. He slowly rose to his feet, using the wall to support himself.

 

Kairi walked in and shut the door behind her. She placed her hands behind her and leaned against it. "Um...About what just happened..." she started, biting her lip with uncertainty. How was she going to say this?

 

Sora stayed silent and watched her with sad, tired eyes.

 

Kairi looked up at him, gnawing on her lip. "...Why didn't you tell me?"

 

"I didn't want you to worry." He said simply. That was the only reason that he could think of to explain why he had tried to keep the secret.

 

Kairi stared at him. "That didn't really seem to work," she said softly. "You can tell me anything, you know that."

 

Sora swallowed hard. "Yeah, I know." He looked down to the floor.

 

"I just don't understand..." Kairi shook her head slowly as she stared at the floor.

 

"Hm?" Sora questioned as he looked up at Kairi.

 

Kairi didn't look up. "You're...sick. And the fact that you didn't tell me...it hurts."

 

Sora looked down at his shoes, ashamed. "I'm sorry." He said softly.

 

Kairi looked up at him. Her tears were coming back at the thought in her mind, but she bit her lip to prevent them from leaving her eyes. "Blood. You were puking up...blood." She bit on her lip harder now, mad that her voice was shaking.

 

Sora shook his head. "It just started getting worse today, it was never too bad before." He quietly let out.

 

"How long?" Kairi asked. "How long have you been sick?"

 

Sora thought back. "It first happened when I was trying to break out of the hospital. And then yesterday it happened twice." He put up his hands to emphasize what he was about to say. "But it was never as bad as what you saw." He bit his lip.

 

Kairi looked away. She couldn't believe this. "You mean that you've been feeling bad for all this time and you never mentioned it?" she asked, staring at the wall. "You could've died, Sora." Kairi closed her eyes. She couldn't stand the thought of that happening.
