KH- Fast Food Madness!

"Hey." Sora greeted his friend, surprised. "What're you doing up?"

 

Kairi shrugged. "I guess I got enough sleep. And you weren't there, so I was curious."

 

"Oh." Sora looked at Kairi, trying to hide the dizzyness and pain in his stomach from both teens.

 

"What about you?" Kairi looked at both of them. "Is everything okay?"

Roxas looked at Sora.

 

"Yeah. Everythings's fine." Sora gave her a small smile, ignoring Roxas' glare.

 

Kairi nodded with a soft smile. "Good."

Roxas wanted to roll his eyes. Sora shouldn't have lied.

 

Sora shot Roxas a look, annoyed that he might let Kairi know that something was wrong. He hoped he wouldn't, but knowing Roxas, he would probably tell Kairi so she would convince Sora to go to a hospital.

 

Roxas glared back at him, and then walked away casually.

Kairi looked around and spotted the coffee machine as Roxas walked by her. "Do you guys want some coffee or something?" she asked as she walked around the counters.

 

"No thanks." Sora said as walked towards a table and slowly sat himself down in one of the seats.

 

"Okay. Roxas, you want anything?" she called as she approached the machine.

"Not right now," Roxas said as he leaned against the condoment counter. He crossed his arms. He was going to go along with Sora's plan and play the game Sora's way. As much as he hated to do it, he wasn't going to let Kairi in on the little secret.

 

Sora put his arms on the table and lowered his head onto them. He shut his eyes to rest a little.

 

"Okay, then." Kairi pulled a cup out and started the coffee machine. She ran a hand through her hair and sat on the counter with the registers, swinging her feet back and forth.

 

Sora took in a breath and blinked. He needed sleep. But more importantly, he needed medicine. He was feeling worse now than he did last night.

 

Roxas stared off into space, his eyes glazing over. He didn't want things to turn out any worse. Sora needed to go to a hospital and he was sure Sora knew it too.

Kairi sighed, glancing over her shoulder at Sora. She looked back in front of her, watching her feet swing back and forth as she waited for the coffee machine to warm up.

Sora felt a tear slide down his cheek. He was glad that Kairi and Roxas couldn't see his face.

 

Kairi jumped down from the counter when she saw the light on the machine. The coffee was ready. She grabbed a cup and poured herself some before grabbing some sugar and cream.

Roxas didn't move. His thoughts kept him stable.

 

Sora quickly wiped away the tear and lift himself up from his seat. He walked back towards the bathroom.

 

Roxas followed Sora with his eyes when he came within sight. Bathroom again. That wasn't good.

Kairi sipped her coffee silently, feeling its warmth slide down her throat.

 

Sora looked at himself in the mirror. He looked very green. He held his stomach as he felt himself gag.

 

Kairi leaned her arms against the counter, her hands cupping her coffee as she stared at it. Hopefully things would get better soon.

Roxas shifted. If Sora was getting sick again, it would end badly if Kairi found him.
