KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi heard the sirens outside again, and cracked open the drapes. Tons of cops were outside. She turned around, her eyes slightly widened. "...The cops," she said quietly.

 

Sora brought his hands to his head and looked down at the floor, trying to get his head to stop spinning so badly.

 

Kairi bit her lip. They didn't know she was home because the windows were closed. Hopefully they wouldn't come up to her door...

 

Sora continued to take in many quick breaths. His chest ached so much, his body feeling like it weighed a ton. He looked towards the ground and closed his eyes.

 

Kairi went and locked the door. If they knocked, she wouldn't open it. She entered the living room again and saw his position on the couch. He didn't look so good, but he couldn't go back into the hospital. They'd find out who he was, and that wouldn't end very well. Kairi approached him quickly, kneeling on the floor next to him in front of her couch.

 

"Could you get me some medicine please?" Sora's voice sounded different, more hollow and soft than usual.

 

Kairi nodded quickly. "Yeah." She got up and hurried to the kitchen, grabbing him some medicine.

 

Sora winced as he leaned back into the couch. His wounds were feeling absolutely terrible. He just wanted the pain to stop.

 

Kairi went back to the living room, glass of water and medicine in hand. Sora really didn't look good. "Here," she said, handing it out to him.

 

Sora gratefully took the medicine and water out of her hands. He shakily swallowed the pills and drank a few sips of water.

 

Kairi leaned over him and felt his head. "You're hot, Sora." She drew her hand back.

 

Sora numbly looked up and saw Kairi's worried expression.

 

Kairi bit her lip and stared at him, noticing his blank eyes. "Sora..." Kairi put her hands on her knees as she leaned in front of him, her eyebrows furrowing as she looked at him. "What is it? What's causing this?"

 

"I think it's just because I don't have the hospital medicine." Sora said softly. He looked down and saw that his hands were trembling.

 

Kairi followed his gaze, her eyes resting on his hands. She sat down next to him and put her hands over his. "I know that we can't take you to the hospital because of what's been going on, but..." How were they going to work this out? He needed the medicine, but how were they supposed to get it?

 

"I know." Sora said shortly. "I'll be fine. Don't worry abou tme." He said slowly as his chest continued to rise up and down.

 

Kairi shook her head. "But what about last time? What if you have another attack?" She knew that unless the medicine stopped the pain soon that she was going to have to take him to the hospital. That was the only choice she had. But she couldn't.

 

"I don't know." Sora shut his eyes again and turned his head so he could rest more comfortably.

 

Kairi was starting to get frustrated. What was she supposed to do? She let go of his hands and crossed her arms, looking at the floor as she sighed in confusion.

 

Sora winced when he suddenly felt pain in his chest. It felt as if he was just stabbed the pain was so extreme.
