KH- Fast Food Madness!

Demyx pauses. "Wait...I thought the people at Wendy's were people from the 2004 election..." Demyx pauses again. "That Democratic rat, Kerry overcharged me! Or wait...am I confusing food with Botox surgery or what? I'm so confused!" Demyx shouts. "Okay...the next customer that walks in for food, I'm sending them over to Arbys to replace Hercules!"

OOC: Why must I break the fourth wall in every RP? Anyway, this is the last time I'll OOC for a while. Imagine in a certain experiment walked through the door next, hmm?

 

Sora sat down on the couch next to Kairi. He put the tissues on the endtable beside her. Unsure of what to do next, he began to rub Kairi's back.

Axel silently stared at Demyx, totally weirded out.

OOC: Alright xD

 

Kairi grabbed a tissue and wiped her eyes. "The...car," she said slowly through shaky breaths, looking at Sora. "It...it almost hit me."

 

"Oh, Kairi." Sora understood now. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

 

"I-I wasn't watching where I was going," she said, staring into his eyes that were now closer to hers.

 

Sora felt his eyes fill with tears. Why had he taken her out?! She had almost gotten killed. He was an idiot. It was all his fault that she was like this.

 

Kairi kept her eyes on his, her vision blurry slightly, but still able to see Sora's eyes get a little watery themselves. "I know what you're thinking, and it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself for my own mistake. I was being too unobservent."


OOC: I have to go for now, unfortunately. I might be back on later, or maybe I won't. If not then I'll be on after school tomorrow.

 

Sora disagreed. No, he was the one who had taken her out. He shouldn't have taken the risk of splitting them up. If he had been there with her, it never would have happened.

OOC: OK, bye.

 

Demyx stand in front the door, ready to open it to next unsuspecting customer. To anyone, he looked like a complete fool. Espeacially the one who opened the door right in his face, causing him to be squished between the wall and door. jerking around from surprise, he drops to the ground on his backside as the door closes.

Stitch walks into Burger King, opening the door and walking up to the corner, not noticing the dazed and confused Mullet-head on his butt by the door. He stands a few inches from the counter, so anyone at the counter could see him, since he was shorter than the counter itself.

OOC: There is no Cashier. Can Demyx temp?

 

Kairi stared into Sora's eyes for a second before looking away and sniffling. She stared at the now darker room now that the curtains were closed and wiped her nose. One experience after another.

 

OOC: Sure, go ahead.

Axel went back to the grill and made up some more burgers.

Sora continued to hold Kairi, unsure of what to do to comfort her. He would make sure that she never cried like this again. His heart was breaking at the sound of her sobbing. He would be there to protect her next time.

 

Shaking his head head from the pain, Demyx quickly gets up, and rushes through the employee entrance, taking a register as a temp. "Welcome to Burger King, how may I get you a job? Er--" Demyx started out happily, but tripped and garbled.

Stitch's teal-shaped black eyes looked up at the mullet-head quite curiously. "Naga Job. Need food." Stitch spoke in pidgeon English.

"Riiiiight. Fooood." Demyx followed, emabarassed. "What will you have, little guy?"

"Hmmm...Coffee and Onion rings, please." Stitch asked politely.

"Coming right up, little blue dude." Demyx turned around to face Axel at the grill. "We need a coffee and a medium order of onion rings, Axel!"

 

Kairi stared blankly in front of her. The thoughts about her near-death experience coming back to mind. It was just so scary....She didn't like feeling that rush of adrenaline when she couldn't even move. Kairi felt like...well, like a baby. And she hated it.

The girl leaned in a little closer to Sora, tucking a few strands of her red hair behind her ear. She was glad he was here.

 

"You get the coffee. I'm only in charge of food, not drinks." Axel told Demyx as he handed him the onion rings.

Sora sadly looked down at Kairi. He knew how that fear felt. And there was nothing that could be done to get rid of it. He could only be there and hope to lessen the pain. He began to stroke her hair.

 

Kairi exhaled when she felt his hands run down her hair, this one less shaky than the others. She tried to block out the sounds from outside, the cars honking in obvious frustration from something out there. Kairi closed her eyes to try and block them out. Every honked horn made her heart skip a beat in surprise or shock or fear or whatever she was feeling at the moment. She was going to be afraid of cars for a while, or at least going to be really cautious the next time she crossed the road, she was sure.

 

Sora looked up towards the window. He pat Kairi on the shoulder and walked to the window. He pulled up the shade a little and looked outside. The accident was still there, and now the police were there too. Sora didn't like having them so close.

 

"What is it?" she asked quietly, her voice low with the edge of the tears she cried earlier. Kairi crumpled the used tissue in her palm as she watched him at the window.

 

Sora didn't respond. He continued to watch two police officers talk to one of the drivers. Two more were talking to the other driver. Another one was at the house across the street, talking to a neighbor. Sora shivered. He definitly didn't like so many cops being nearby.

 

Kairi leaned forward and laid her elbows against her knees, bringing both hands to the sides of her face and pushing her bangs out of her eyes. Whatever was going on, she probably didn't want to know. It'd only make things worse.

 

Sora shut the shade and looked down to his feet. "It's nothing." He answered Kairi's question. "Let's just stay away from the window tonight."
