KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi hummed a tune as she pulled the two pieces of bread out of the toaster and set them on the plates. She dusted the crumbs off her hands and grabbed the orange juice.

 

Pooh was already at the grill, cheerfully doing his job. He had heard about Sora, and he couldn't have been more glad. Finally, things were going right.

Sora quietly walked into the kitchen and saw the table set for two. He smiled and looked over at Kairi, who was still preparing breakfast. He sat down at the table.

 

Kairi turned around. She jumped, a gasp escaping her lips as the orange juice sloshed around in its jug from her reaction. She put a hand on her chest and closed her eyes. She opened them. "You scared me," she said.

 

Sora looked up and smiled apologetically. "Sorry about that."

 

Kairi smiled. "It's okay." She grabbed two glasses out of the cupboard and started pouring the orange juice in them. "I hope you're hungry. I made breakfast for two this morning."

 

Sora felt his stomach rumble. Now that he was in the kitchen, smelling all the food, he was starving. "Sounds great." He smiled widely.

 

"Good," Kairi said, smiling as she looked over at him. She put both of their glasses on the table and walked back to the fridge, putting the cap on the orange juice. She grabbed both of their plates and set them down on the table. She pulled out a chair. "Dig in."

 

"Thanks," Sora said to her, smiling. He picked up a fork and began to eat his food. He closed his eyes when he first tasted the food. It was so much better than that lousy hospital food he had been eating lately.

 

Marluxia woke up in the Burger King he had an apartment but his roomate (larxene) had locked him out, so he had to sleep here for the night. Marluxia went to the restroom to clean himself up, but the door was locked "Vexen must be in there." Marluxia said angrily going to his post.

"Someone is back to their old self." Tron said seeing Pooh happily at work.

 

"Everything is just dandy." Pooh smiled as he finished another burger.

 

"Sure." Kairi nodded and smiled at him as she grabbed her fork and started eating a bite of her eggs.

 

Sora looked down at his plate and noticed that his food was all gone. Had he really eaten it all already?? Sora picked up the orange juice and took a few sips. He must have been REALLY hungry.

 

Kairi bit into her toast, the only thing that was left on her plate. She giggled at Sora, covering her mouth. She swallowed. "That was quick."

 

Sora set down his glass and showed off his cheesy smile. "I guess I was hungrier than I thought."

 

Kairi swallowed the last bite of her toast and pushed her chair out. "Guess so." She grabbed her plate and Sora's, walking to the sink and setting them there. She paused, and then turned to him. "Your chest isn't bothering you, is it?"

 

Sora looked down a little. "It hurts a little; but it's not too bad. I don't think I had another heart attack or anything." He was shocked at his own realization. After the fast paced action yesterday, he was surprised he was able to move today. But he wasn't complaining.

 

Kairi relaxed a little. "Thank goodness," she said. She was so glad that he was okay. Even if it was a little pain, it was better than before. Sora was really important to her, and all she wanted was for him to be okay.

 

"Speaking of that, can I have some more asprin?" He asked. He really wanted a day without pain.

 

"Yeah, of course," Kairi said, reaching up and opening the cupboard. She pulled out the aspirin, putting two of them in her hand. She walked over to Sora, sitting down back in her seat. Kairi extended her hand across the table, the pills in her palm.

 

"Thanks." He took the pills out of her hand. He tilted his head back and popped the pills in his mouth, swallowing hard. He felt the pills go down his throat.
