KH- Fast Food Madness!

"What?" Marluxia said opening the box that didn't have a weapon in it only a few pink flowers. "Does Sora not like flowers?" Marluxia said.

OoC: Got to log off might be back on around 6:30 or 8:00. Sorry for making it sound like marluxia was going to do something else to Sora.

 

Roxas turned back around when he saw that Sora was talking to Kairi.

"You were having a nightmare again, weren't you?" Kairi stared at his blue orbs. "You wouldn't wake up."

"FLOWERS?!" Roxas asked in with wide eyes in shock.

 

"What kind of a guy likes flowers?" Axel snorted, disgusted.

Sora nodded his head. "Yeah, it was horrible..." he trailed off. "I couldn't wake up?"

 

"Well...obviously Marluxia," Roxas said, answering Axel's question as he looked up at him.

"I guess not," Kairi said shrugging. "Roxas and I both tried to wake you, but you wouldn't. And your heart rate was increasing...and it scared me a little bit."

 

"Keep the flowers." Axel told the strange man. "Sora's allergic."

"Oh." Sora looked over at her and grabbed her hand. "Sorry about that."

 

She shook her head. "It's okay. I'm just happy you're okay."

 

Sora smiled at her reassuringly, hiding his fear inside him. That dream had felt too real, too scary. He didn't want to think about it ever again, but he knew that it would come up in his mind again and again.

 

Kairi smiled softly back at him. She felt so scared a few moments ago, but she thought of the fear that Sora was experiencing. It had to be so much worse than her own.

 

Already, it was playing over and over again in his mind. Kairi vanishing, his beatings, being alone. No, he didn't want to think about this. Get out of my head! He pleaded to the distressing thoughts, knowing that they would never obey.

 

Kairi thought back to a few hours ago, when things were silent and sad between her and Sora. The news of the heart attacks he'd had back at the jail. No wonder he was so weak. Kairi knew that Sora hadn't wanted to tell her about it then, but he should've. He was so close to dying back there, and it scared her. The thought of her nightmare again made her gulp. She closed her eyes, trying to get rid of the mental pictures in her mind. Kairi ended up squeezing Sora's hand, just to make sure he was there with her.

 

Sora looked at Kairi's face when she squeezed his hand harder. He returned her grasp. He needed to know that they were both alive. He took in a breath and shut his eyes a little, trying not to show that he was tearing up.

 

Roxas turned around, noticing the two holding hands. "Um..." He looked up at Axel. "Maybe we should go," he suggested, pointing at Sora and Kairi over his shoulder with a thumb.

Kairi just stood there, her eyes closed as she held his hand. He was there, alive...with her. He wasn't gone. He wasn't in the Darkness. She'd rather have him in the hospital alive than not have him alive at all. Kairi bit her lip as she felt him squeeze back.

 

The doctor came back into the room. Sora quickly opened his eyes and looked over. "Incredible." The man muttered. He looked up and saw everyone in the room. "You had two heartattacks, but there's barely evidence of even one occuring! It was painful at first, but with this medication we're giving you, you could be out of here pretty soon!"

Sora eyes widened in happiness. He smiled widely at the doctor, showing off his pearly whites.

 

"Really?" Kairi asked, a mix of happiness and shock on her face.

 

The doctor nodded and left.

He looked really perplexed, Sora noted as he watched the man leave.

 

Kairi grinned, looking over at Sora. She squeezed his hand. "You're going to be okay."

 

Sora smiled and looked into her eyes. It's finally over, he thought with a great sense of relief.

 

Riku finally returned to his apartment after having people from all three restaurants sign the card. Later, he would go to the hospital and give Sora the card.
"These have been the longest two days ever!" he said, turning on the TV.
In beg red letters on the screen it said 'NEWS FLASH!'. A news reporter was then standing outside of a damaged jail with unconscious police guards laid around it.
"Oh no." Riku said under his breath, sitting down and staring at the TV.
"Hello, we are here live at the scene where last night, some sort of attack occurred, leaving unconscious guards and a horribly damaged jail." said the news reporter, a woman. "No one is quite sure yet exactly what happened. However, someone who remained anonymous claimed to have seen black monsters attacking a group of teenagers and adults at the jail. Police will begin investigating all of this later today. Thank you."
Slowly, Riku reached for the remote and turned off the TV.
"Great." he said, slumping into his bed.

Xigbar was simply sitting in his chair when his stomach began to growl.
"We haven't had customers in a while, and we won't be having them anytime soon." he said, sneaking into the kitchen. "I'm sure no one will mind if I take a little snack..."

 

"Guess your heart's stronger than you think," Kairi said with a small smile.

 

He smiled at her, feeling very foolish. How could he have ever doubted that everything would be alright? It was true he hadn't been himself lately, but had he been so different as to lose all hope?
