KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora continued to sob, his chest rising with each hicup. It burned like it was on fire. He tried to stop his sobbing and eventually got his chest to stop heaving so much.

OOC: I've cried about what happens in rps before xD

 

Kairi closed her eyes, her wet eyelashes touching her cheeks. She couldn't stop crying. Sora could've died, and then she would be alone.... The thought made the sobs come back, and her breath was shaky with each gasp.

OOC: This is sad. I'm very close.

 

Sora closed his eyes and let the tears fall more gently. He felt much more sorrow than he was showing, but his chest hurt too badly when he let himself sob so freely.

 

She cried with him, everything silent but their sobs. Kairi didn't know what to say to Sora. What could she say to him? There was nothing...

 

Sora opened his eyes. His vision was blurry from tears. Reality really sunk in. He was in the hospital. He just had two surgeries and two heart attacks. Things weren't going to get better any time soon.

 

Can I have Cloud and Cid please? ^^

 

OOC: 1st of all, you can't have 2 characters in the same group. Secondly, reread the rules and then post again =D.

 

Kairi wiped a few tears away, sniffing. She rubbed Sora's hand assuringly.

 

Sora looked over numbly at Kairi with sad blue eyes. He had come close to death before, but it had never felt as real as it did now with Kairi crying beside him.

 

Kairi met Sora's eyes, and she smiled weakly at him. That stupid nightmare she had. It was so close to reality.

 

Sora didn't return her smile. How could she possibly smile at a time like this?! Things were so serious...

 

Even though the smile was only to try and reassure him, it vanished just as quickly as it came on Kairi's face. She looked away then, a little ashamed that she tried to lighten the mood when there was no possible way she could.

 

Sora couldn't stand to look at Kairi anymore. He felt so numb. So worthless. So alone. Nothing could change that feeling, he realized sadly as he turned to lay flat on his back.

 

Kairi got up from the bed, stepping over the puddle of water she'd made earlier. She wiped her tears away and took in a deep breath. She opened the door without a word and went toward the bathroom.

 

Sora heard the door shut and shed another tear. Now he was really, truely alone.

 

Kairi found the bathroom down the hall and walked inside. It was empty, which she was thankful for. She looked at herself in the mirror. She was a mess; her eyes were puffy and red, and her cheeks were stained with tears. She turned on the faucet and splashed some water in her face, then grabbed a paper towel and wiped away the water, including her tears. She had to be strong, or at least try.

With a sigh, she grabbed a handful of paper towels and headed back to the room.

 

Sora rolled over and faced away from the door, crying quietly. He curled himself into a ball and grabbed his knees, feeling childish but not really caring.

 

Kairi wiped under her eyes, getting rid of the last trace of any tears she had. A nurse passed by and smiled, and Kairi smiled back nicely. She opened the door to Sora's room and walked inside quietly. She made her way to the bed and crouched down, picking up the cup and putting the paper towels on the puddle of water.

 

Sora heard Kairi come back in, but he didn't bother moving. He didn't deserve her. She was way too good for him.

 

There was silence as Kairi soaked up the water with the towels. She picked them up and picked up the cup and walked over to the trashcan, throwing them away. She leaned her head against the wall and sighed. Things kept getting worse.
