KH- Fast Food Madness!

As if on cue, a doctor entered the room. He looked quite frustrated. "I don't know what I'm to do with you, young man." He stared at the clipboard in his hands. "Your little adventure yesterday nearly got you killed. You had TWO heart attacks within one hour. That's unheard of for a boy your age. You're lucky to be ali.." he looked up. "Oh, I didn't realize we weren't alone." He coughed awkardly. "I'll just leave you two alone." He quietly left the room.

 

Kairi dropped her cup full of water when the new finally settled in. The water splattered on the floor. Her eyes widened when she looked at Sora. "T-TWO heart attacks?" Her features had been overcome by fear and shock.

 

Sora bolted upright when it had settled. "TWO?!?" He grabbed his chest. "I knew it was bad..but...TWO HEARTATTACKS?!" His eyes were wide with panic and shock.

 

Kairi covered her mouth with her hand. "Oh, my God," she said, her voice muffled.

 

"Two..." Sora said more softly, collapsing back to a laying position. "That can't possibly be good..."

 

Kairi looked at Sora with horror-strucken eyes. "You were having chest pains and you didn't tell me? Not only chest pains, but HEART ATTACKS, Sora! You could've died back there! Why didn't you say anything?"

 

Sora's eyes darted across the room. "I didn't know they were heartattacks!" He exclaimed. "Besides, I didn't have much of a choice except to go on. There was nothing we could have done!" He reasoned out loud.

 

"If I knew you were in so much pain I could've gotten you out of there quicker when we left." She looked away. "So that's why you collapsed on the ground..."

 

"There was nothing you could have done." Sora thought back. "It was my fault anyway."

 

Kairi's hands started shaking. Her dream...It almost came true. It terrified her to know it, and she ground her teeth together to try and stop the tears welling up in her eyes. "How was it your fault?" she asked quietly, not looking at him.

 

Sora slammed his fist into the bed and grit his teeth. "I was the one stupid enough to go chase after Riku. I'm such an idiot!" He hit himself hard on the head.

 

His anger made her jump and squeeze her eyes shut. One tear fell down her cheek, but on the side of her face not facing him. She wiped it away quickly.

 

Sora shut his eyes and took in a few breaths. "I made a mistake that nearly cost both of us our lives. I'm the biggest idiot on the face of the planet."

 

"No, you're not," she said quietly. She wouldn't look at him.

 

"Yes I am." A tear slid down his cheek. He didn't bother to wipe it away. He was getting what he deserved for putting Kairi in such great danger...and himself.

 

Kairi looked at him then, her eyes full of tears and her vision blurry. A few tears escaped her eyes, and that's when she saw Sora crying too. She let out a shaky breath.

 

Sora let his tears come more freely. He had almost died. He would have lost everything, everyone. How could he be so close to dying and not know it?

 

Kairi put her hand over Sora's fist. She didn't know what to say...All she could do was let the tears fall.

 

When Kairi touched him, Sora began to sob. How could she still love him?!? How could she love such a big idiot?

 

His sobs broke her heart. Kairi's lip quivered uncontrollably and she let out a sob before everything came crashing down, her tears running down her face helplessly. She squeezed his fist, letting him know she was still there, that she cared for him more than he would ever know.

OOC: Omg, so sad. Plus a sad song called "I Love Your Existence (Acoustic)" is playing by the band Goot and it's making me tear up. I'm such a sap. xD
