KH- Fast Food Madness!

"Hm?" Namine jumped slightly at the sound, coming out of her half asleep state. She turned around and put one hand on Roxas' chest as she gazed up at his face.

Sora's eyebrows came down slightly in his sleep, the noise coming through his ears and sounding louder than it actually was. He took in a sharp breath.

 

Kairi jumped a little at the sound, and it brought her out of her sleep a little.

Roxas squeezed his eyes shut as he bit down harder on his lip, the cry being a grunt instead. He waited for the pain to subside as it shot through his calf.

 

Namine turned around and stared at Roxas with wide eyes, her mouth clamped shut tightly.

 

Roxas' eyelids relaxed from their pressed state, his eyes now closed lightly as he exhaled from holding his breath.

 

Namine stared at him with wide eyes, unable to find words. She bit down hard on her lip, tears returning to her eyes. She hated this so much.

 

Roxas' back sank deeper into the pillows as his muscles relaxed a little and he opened his eyes, immediately finding the hurt expression on her face. Roxas bit his lip and his eyes softened in regret, his hand reaching up and cupping Namine's face. "I'm sorry," he whispered softly. His pain caused her pain, and he hated it.

 

"Don't be sorry," Namine whispered back softly, looking down at the hand he put on her face.

 

But he was sorry. He caused her pain from his own, and there was no excuse for that. Roxas' eyes were soft with sorrow as he looked at Namine, his thumb stroking her skin once.

 

Namine clearly read his expression and desperatly wanted to make him feel better. She leaned forward and plant light kiss on Roxas' lips before going back to her previous position.

 

Roxas smiled weakly at her, his hand leaving her face.

 

Namine smiled faintly and used one hand to gently brush some of Roxas' hair out of his eyes.

 

Her gentle touch made Roxas close his eyes in comfort. This place was hardly ever soothing, but when she was here, it was.

 

Namine pulled her hand back and bit down on her lip again, gazing toward the window.

 

Roxas sighed quietly and tilted his head back, resting.

 

Namine felt a tear slide down her cheek as she leaned forward and plant a light kiss on Roxas' cheek.

 

Roxas smiled at her gesture, and turned his head to face her, opening his eyes.

 

Namine slowly pulled back, her eyes closing halfway as she gazed down at the bed.

 

"Namine..." Roxas didn't want to see her cry anymore; he hated it. It made him feel like he was doing something wrong.

 

Another tear slid down Namine's cheek as she brought her head forward, romantically kissing Roxas on the lips.

 

Roxas was a little surprised by her kiss, but he savored it anyway. He kissed her back.
