KH- Fast Food Madness!

There was a bench sitting outside the doors, and Namine needed a moment to calm down. She went over to the bench and sat down, putting her hands to her head as she caught her breath and finished crying.

OOC: Be right back.

 

Roxas closed his eyes to rest, not wanting to fall asleep again. Just to rest.

OOC: Okay.

 

Namine sniffled and wiped away her tears, shakily rising up from the bench and entering the building. She head straight for the elevator and got in just before it shut its doors.

 

The beeping of his monitor and Sora's traveled to Roxas' ears as he relaxed into his pillows, taking in a deep breath.

 

When the elevator doors opened on the second floor, Namine stepped out and slowly walked towards the room, watching her feet as she walked. Only a few more steps to the door now. She didn't know if she was ready to face anyone or not; she just knew she didn't want to be alone. That was too scary.

 

Roxas exhaled quietly, his heart beat becoming a comforting rhythm.

 

Namine inhaled and bit her lip as she quietly let herself into the hospital room, still looking down. She didn't dare lift her eyes yet. She wasn't ready.

 

Roxas turned his head and opened his eyes at the sound of the door opening. His blue orbs found bleach blonde hair, and he smiled slightly.

 

Namine bit down harder on her lip and turned around, making sure that the door shut quietly behind her.

 

Roxas watched her silently, glad she was here.

 

Namine watched her feet as she forced herself to move. She didn't even know if any of her friends were awake--she hadn't looked at all. She folded her hands in front of her and walked towards a chair by Roxas' bed.

 

Tension suddenly was felt in the room, and Roxas' smile faded as she got closer. Something was wrong, and Namine wouldn't look up. He was worried. Was she okay?

 

Namine bit down on her lip as she sat herself down in one of the chairs. She leaned forward and put her elbows on her knees, and then rest in head in her hands as she gazed down at the floor.

 

Roxas watched her with worry-filled eyes. "...Namine?" His voice was very quiet, showing his hesitance and uncertainty. He didn't understand...

 

Namine put her hands down and lift her head up, looking at Roxas with tear filled eyes.

 

Roxas' expression changed suddenly at her eyes. He looked broken. The funeral must've hurt her worse than she had been, and he thought that was bad.

 

"I couldn't face it," Namine whispered softly, looking into Roxas' eyes. A few tears slid down her cheeks.

 

"Come here," Roxas said softly, wanting to be close to her.

 

Namine silently obeyed, sitting down and putting her legs up on the bed next to Roxas.

 

Roxas looked at her, sadness in his eyes. "Tell me what happened," he whispered softly.
