KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora smiled faintly and held out his hand, wanting to at least hold her hand in his again.

 

Kairi slipped her hand into his with a small smile.

 

"Come closer," Sora whispered softly, regaining his strength.

 

Kairi did as Sora requested, moving so she was sitting on the side of his bed, right next to him.

 

Sora shut his eyes and weakly brought her hand to his lips, lightly kissing it.

 

Kairi smiled softly at Sora's loving gesture.

 

Sora let out a breath as he let their hands fall back to their original spot.

 

Kairi looked at Sora fondly, holding his hand in hers. The two of them never really needed to say "I love you", because they would express it through their actions. And actions spoke louder than words.

 

Sora turned his head on the pillow, still exhausted. His chest rose with each heavy breath that he took.

 

With Kairi's free hand, she swept one of Sora's brown spikes out of his eyes gently.

 

Sora sighed very softly, feeling himself drift out of conciousness yet again.

 

Kairi smiled softly and tightened her grip around Sora's hand slightly.

Roxas stared out the window, his eyes on the blue sky overhead. He wondered when Namine was going to get back. Kairi had told him where she'd gone to, and he silently thought of when he'd see here again.

 

Namine sat through the whole service in silence, tears being forced to stay in her eyes. If she broke apart so soon, there was no way she would survive the day. So she bit her tongue the whole service to keep herself quiet. And then...she had went up to him. She had whispered her goodbye and put her hand on his. But when she felt that cold, lifeless skin, she lost it. She started to sob, and she ran out of the church without looking back. She ran all the way home, even in her heels and dress. Her family had kindly let her be alone while they went to the burial. Namine sat on the steps to her house and sobbed, all alone in the cold winter afternoon.

 

Roxas understood if she needed her space, though. Dealing with death was one of the hardest things to do in life, if not the hardest. He watched a cloud slowly move across the sky as the minutes passed by, Kairi and Sora both asleep next to each other.

 

After the sobs had subsided, Namine went inside her house and slipped on more comfortable clothes. She put on black pants, a plain white shirt, and a light blue sweater. She slipped on a pair of snow boots and stuffed a pack of tissues in her pants pocket. She needed to go for a nice, long run.

 

Kairi napped lightly next to Sora, her head on the bed as her hand gripped his.

 

Namine ran as hard as she could, not sure where she was going. She had to get away...from everything. Her friend's pain, Roxas' pain, her pain. The tears streamed down her face as she finally came to a stop at the one place she hadn't expected to run to: the hospital.

 

Roxas sighed softly, his eyelids closing slightly as he looked out the window. The buildings around blocked the beauty of the blue sky today, which was a lot more appealing than the nasty storm clouds from yesterday.
