KH- Fast Food Madness!

Namine kept stroking his cheek as she leaned forward, planting a light kiss on Roxas' head.

 

As his eyes stayed closed, Roxas brought his hand to Namine's on his cheek when her lips met his head. The tear left his eye and trailed down his cheek, brushing his fingertip.

 

Namine shut her eyes as she backed away from the kiss, noticing how gently Roxas had his hand on hers.

 

Roxas held her hand against his cheek and turned his head slightly, kissing her wrist lightly.

OOC: Gah, I have to wake up in 5 hours! I just remembered. Dx I gotta go. See you later!

 

Namine smiled faintly and opened her eyes halfway, gazing at Roxas.

OOC: Have fun with that. Dx See you later!

 

Roxas pulled his lips away from her wrist and then kept his eyes closed, holding her hand against his cheek.

 

Namine shut her eyes completly, quietly exhaling her breath was still a little shaky, but she was almost back to normal.

 

As Roxas inhaled slowly, another tear on the corner of his eye, he rubbed Namine's hand lightly with his thumb.

 

Namine slowly brought her head back towards Roxas, gently laying her head on his chest.

 

Roxas put his arm around Namine's form, holding her close.

 

Namine sighed softly, relieved to be in Roxas' arms again. It was the one place in the world that she wanted to be. But tommorrow...she would need to leave for the funeral. She wished he could go with, but with his leg being broken, she doubt he would be allowed to leave the hospital just yet.

 

Roxas bit his lip and leaned his head back on the pillows, closing his eyes as another tear trickled down his face. His crying stayed silent as he held Namine in his arms, rubbing his thumb along her skin.

 

One more silent breath left Namine's lips as she drift out of conciousness, Roxas' touch like a powerful lullaby. In the past, she had a habit of falling asleep whenever she was extremely heartbroken, and now that habit was starting again.

 

Roxas sniffled slightly, raising one of his arms up to run over his eyes. The thunder roared through the room, but it was fainter than a few moments ago. He guessed the storm was letting up, thankfully. As the rain hit the windows, he fell asleep, his eyelashes wet as they touched his face.

15 hours later, Namine stood in the hospital room by the window, staring at the rising sun. It was 7:30 in the morning, more than half a day since the storm. Today was the day; the day she went to her grandfather's funeral. She had woken up in the hospital earlier, and then she had gone home and gotten ready for the funeral. After getting a shower and putting on a long, flowing, black dress, she returned to the hospital. The service didn't start for another hour and a half, but she would make sure she was earlier for it all. Before that, though, she had to come back to the hospital. She wanted to be with Roxas before she left.

 

Kairi lifted her head from the back of the chair, having fallen asleep in the uncomfortable seat. She blinked and rubbed her eyes, leaning forward with her elbows against her knees. She was a little groggy from her nap she'd taken around midnight, but more awake than she was before.

 

Namine bit her lip and continued gazing out the window. Was she really ready to let go? To say goodbye to someone so precious and dear to her? Was she strong enough? The questions flood her head, making her sadder as she bit down harder on her lip.

 

Kairi turned her head and her eyes met Namine's form, her bleach blonde hair sticking out against her black dress. The dress was beautiful, but it was unfortunate that it had to be used for a bad occasion. Kairi ran her hand through her red locks and tucked some behind her ear before standing up and stretching. She needed to go home and shower and change.

 

Namine doubt that she could face this alone, but she didn't have much of a choice now, did she?

 

Kairi crossed her arms across her chest, a little cold as she approached the window and stood next to Namine. She looked out at the city, glad to see that the snow was melting. It disgusted her, and she didn't want to see it anymore.
